Because coopero has more patience with your behaviour than the russian mod. But again you complain in this community for action from a different community, and I don't think that you ro understand what you hear. So far you're not banned here nor ignored, but for how long?

No one cares what rank you are, you have to respect and address everyone in this game equally, no matter who they are. We do not allow any kind of discrimination. If you have an issue with someone, sort it privately or please block them using your chat / forum settings.

I hear you cooper. But you tell us if someone bothers us just put them on ignore but then mods don't follow their own advice.

Let me tell you the entire thing here, so that things are clear. 

Recently, the Chat Violations section was closed. The reason behind it was that people simply used to report other players to have their revenge or for timepass. 60-70% of the reports didn't have required proof. So, the project of having a section to report chat violators was a failure at some stage, where they had to close it. Obviously no one likes violators. Still, nothing else was implemented on that part, since players had an alternative to put other players in their ignore list. This feature acts as a chat filter for you, where in you manually ignore people who irritate you or who violate the rules. 

This was the information you need about chat violations. Now let me explain what exactly you can do.

When someone irritates you. your job as of now, is to just add him to the ignore list. Also, this is the only option for you if he's using private message feature : instead of ; as far as I know, private messages are not processed. Secondly, if a mod is already present there, he HAS TO take necessary actions because he is supposed to do that. The Job of a Chat Moderator is to minimize Violations in the Chat Lobby. The Chat Moderator is not allowed to ignore any sort of violation. As I already said, he has to take actions if he sees any sort of violation in the chat.

So basically this is why you were banned by the chat moderator and now you don't need to ask why he didn't "ignore" you since he's a Moderator and it's his duty to take actions on violators. Rules are not the same in all communities due to a lot of dissimilarities between us all - you have to take cultural and religious differences into account, the average age of players etc. We tried to standardize the moderation in the game as much as possible but it cannot be implemented fully, what works here doesn't work there and vice versa. We also cannot impose our decisions on other communities, we all work in different circumstances and encounter different situations and problems that ask for solutions which are unique for each community. 

 

Simply use common sense, don't swear nor insult, don't let yourself be provoked, simply block anyone who bothers you and you'll enjoy the game without stress.

99% of the time. You still get that occasional player who buys his way to max level equipment for his rank then buys a lot of drugs and basically makes himself a crappy, noob god...

I didn't do anything that deserved a ban. And I was talking to my team not his. It was none of his business. Now if these so called "battle mods" that I have NEVER seen EVER would take the mults out of the game then I would not have been talking to my team. Have you EVER seen one person removed from a battle? I rest my case.

No matter who you talk to, if you violate rules you will get a ban. Please check out the Rules again so that you are sure. 

 

 

None of his business? I think you did not read my previous message carefully. I clearly said that the Chat Moderator HAS TO take actions against each and every player who violates the rules. No matter whoever he's talking to, or if he's randomly talking, or anything. If you violate rules in the chat and if a mod sees it, you are sure to get a ban/warn. 

 

One more thing - Battle Mods are not Chat Mods.

You are right, but most of the rules are common. Violations like Insults, Profanity, Provocation, Sharing of Accounts, Racist Comments, etc. are given a ban in every community, if I am not wrong. So there is not "much" difference in the rules of different communities. So I think we should be aware of the basic ethics before we go in to play on some other community servers imo.

Administrators and moderators are under the same game rules as players. They are NOT free to violate ANY rules. Any moderator/administrator violating game rules will be swiftly punished and probably removed from their position depending on the severity of the violation. If you would care to point out which rule Cedric violated feel that would be useful.

lol. We don't break rules so we don't get banned: simple as that, yet hard to understand for some players.

If we do broke rules, we get punished, thing is you won't see us whining about it. Like for everybody, proofs are gathered and reported, nobody wants to punish an innocent (mod and players alike). Hear say may start investigation, but crying wolf will just make you look like a fool.

Cedric is not admin nor mod, get your fact straight. There is privileges that none of us will have, maybe you should apply to the CM position. GL

I fully agree to this :) because I've been an eye witness. I rarely PM you either because mods help me or I don't want to disturb you, since you already might have a busy schedule

I didn't insult them I was trying to get mults to leave, an every-game occurrence. I guess the Russian mod took it as insults but how do I even know if he properly understands English?

How do you get any help from the Russians? No answer other than I guess you don't. I have reached the point of frustration that if I get in a game and there is a mult I am gone. If there are cheaters I am gone. I am not wasting my time and drugs on people that tanki will do nothing about. They tolerate cheaters and mults but not a harsh word to someone who deserves it? Really?

Oh hey hey wait a moment. What was the language you used while to told those people to leave? I don't know, but you know that well and that might have violated the Rules. One more thing. The Moderator can not ASSUME that you violated the rules. 1 ban adds a mole to your karma which is not removable. I am an eye witness to this and I've experienced the cons in it. So, the Mod has to think through all situations and make sure that it's a clear-cut violation, before he issues a ban for someone. So please don't imagine things yourself if you are not aware of the entire thing.
Tanki does not tolerate cheaters and mults. That's why battle mods are there. They keep on checking battles for violations such as sabotage, cheating, hacking, mults, etc. Also, if you find a person who is sabotaging or hacking, you can record a video, upload it to youtube, take it as proof and submit it in the Game Violation Reports Section. Make sure you are aware of the video requirements before submitting the proof.

 

Lastly, Chat Violations and Game Violations are two different things.
Chat Violations - These happen when you violate a set of few rules implemented for the Chat. Violations such as Insults, Profanity, Discussion of Politics, Racist Comments, Chats regarding Sharing of accounts, threatening other players, etc. are included in Chat Violations.
Game Violations - As I already mentioned, hacking, sabotage, multing, Use of third party software to get an unfair advantage in the game, etc. are included in Game Violations.

If you are a true player then you should have the courage to accept that you were wrong on your part. According to me, you should apologize to Ostrica, Viking and all other mods you insulted and spreaded wrong info about.

Ostrica, how about making the rest of us believe it? We do doubt you quite a lot, really sry about that but after all the rumours, we don't feel safe putting trust into you. So is there anyway to make us believe all that you stated? Have a think about what I said and pls don't ban me for that

The habit of rumors is to spread. It's just like water. You leave it, it keeps on spreading. Or you might also call it forest fire. Don't listen to them! Fake Rumors spread even faster. The Public wants an excuse to put a question against an honest person's job. So you might have 1000's of things heard against Ostrica. It's because she is an Admin and many people don't like her attitude. I don't find much problems in it, except for the thing that she is a bit stubborn and very particular to things. But from the other hand, this type of attitude is really good for a Chat Admin. Still, many people don't like her attitude and they spread rumors. I don't think I need to explain you how rumors spread.

 

Just ignore rumors. Be a witness to her job and you'll find out that she's doing her job well enough. She has answered all questions I asked in the busy RU1 server, where all people asked her questions. So, yeah. Just watch her job closely.

Thing no.1 - I don't know if I am correct. But as far as I know, Ostrica would not care about rumors because she knows that she's honest with herself and she's not working to prove something, yes?

On a veeerrrryyy serious note, you can be chat mod at any age you want. Only battle mod has age limitations.

I've applied as a chat mod before and they said I was too young. Ostrica - "You must be 18+" (about 2 years ago she said this when I asked her in main chat)
