Well, I for one do not accept helpers for their wit or sense of humor. Maybe I'm just lucky to have chosen only funny helpers :ph34r:, or maybe the 'funny gene' is linked with the characteristics I AM looking for, who knows.

Being a Helper doesn't just grant you a default "learn all the secrets about Tanki and who gets paid" card.  :lol:

There were two sides to my statement. One was that even if I knew, it would be best not to say (it isn't necessary either). Also, I didn't know the actual answer so couldn't give you 100% true information, just an educated guess.

Look at this guy (he has a real name displayed (not a username). It has a space in between. That was the first clue). Then click on "Profile" and see which Rating it takes you to. :D

Any admin can change their forum nickname and put a space in their name.

Second clue is that he is active on the day after Cedric is officially gone.

Looks like the ranking system for CM is going to be even shorter. :D

Whether he's awarded with crystals or something else for his effort I do not know and it doesn't make a difference either, that's not what makes someone a helper. That would be like saying that cars use fuel, so everything that uses fuel is a car. He's simply not part of the helper team.

I don't have a limit on the prizes I'll give out. If I like it, I'll reward it. For the "most liked memes", I'll pick the top 30 and reward them with 10k crystals each.

 

 

see part of the issue is and was Cedric's , when he said that  most liked meme's /friends can like your postings would also be taken in account on the judging . this leaves regular players without benefit's (have little chances of winning .. we all know Mods / ( players with benefit's ) will always come out on top.. we know this even with Seymon was here .. also there are many players who are out there who are without friends or are just joining the forum for this contest for the first time.

 

for the contest you mentioned well we have no clue what your not allowed in on . all we know is that all players including players with benefits also are allowed.. were not staff .. also you as Admin could of make your own contest or something , there was plenty of time to get one going ,with other Admin.

Why can't you guys see the contests where helpers aren't taking part at all? E.g, The Wiki Contest, The Commentator Contest, Newspaper Contests, Community Events, [(In v-log) Question Of The Week and Video Of The Week.]

From all those restrictions, we just participated in this one, to have fun one last time with Cedric.

I'm not saying helper shouldn't participate or win, I'm saying if they win more regular players should be counted until the count is completed with regular players. A double count.

Removed from where? The only helper alt accounts that are listed are those of chat moderators and of event organizers and admins, and both of those are still there.

Hey all,

 

Since I technically stopped working here two days ago, and has now taken over as the new CM for the International Community, it's time for me to close this topic.

 

Thank you all for your help and support, and for having been a great community overall. I say with full confidence that while gaming communities are generally incredibly toxic, this has been a pleasant and welcoming one.
