Hi Cedric Debono, I have 2 questions:

 

1) if your refernal account completed a week of daily missions, do the main account receive 10% of the crystals received for the refernal? Example: player is the refernal of player @BlueDragon_tamki. If one last ride completes the first week of daily missions, do blue dragon tamki receive 10% of one last ride's received crystals?

 

2) why did you want to become a community manager?

In the tournament DM the "time left until regiastration"says that 6 hours left(or 5 etc.), even when i have not registrated to the tournament.Is that normal?

Remember, that was just a test. Don't worry too much about it.

 

The kit cycle apparently changed from 2 sets a week to 4, along with a ton of new kits. Is an announcement for this coming up or something?

Nope. We don't much see the point of announcing stuff like that.

 

Can the en community expect an Xp/Bp tournament in the near future?

You'd have to ask the devs about their plans for that. I really have no idea.

 

How Tanki Online manages to pay salary of their staff? The only way I know T.O earns money is when players buy crystals or premium but I dont think its enough to pay salaries of staff, afford good computers etc.

The devs erased moon silence for the hacking. However, if moon silence map choice is only available in parkour maps, it won't be a big problem. The supposedly "hackers" wouldn't be able to get crystals.

Interesting that as long time players we have been going on tanki history  ( archives ) of the past contest to say when the next sales will be coming up...

 

 last year in July we had the Miss and Mr . tanki contest which if i remember correctly we also had sales for it..

now with Euro cup on our door steps ...in the past we also had sales ...and also with E-Sports there were sales when the games for the winning teams were also happening ..

well just so you know that the old timers who have been playing the game we all base our facts off the archives.. we all know things can change and  seeing we have a new CM ..anything can happen

Yes of course, I understand that. And yes, as a new CM, I'll try my best not only to uphold the tradition, but also to improve on it  ;) 

 

now for the music ... all i can say is for now its... heavy ... i will need to listen to it a few more times to really give feed back on it.. other then that good luck with it...

Eventually, yes. But not just yet. Remember, for now we're just stress-testing the feature. We need to make sure we "break" all the weak parts during this testing phase, so that when we roll out the update in full, it's solid.

Unfortunately, the "browsing" is spot on. There's just so much going on that it's impossible for me to really get involved in all the conversations. I mostly focus on the Developer's News forum, while does a great job of giving me a digest of top content in other areas. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to up the activity.

So we can do the same? If we make something, will you give it to us? (Code, model and other things.)

 

And there will be new XT's? if there will, when? Are you planning lower modification levels for XT's? (It will help you earn better. Trust me.)

The thing is that different ranks have different needs and priorities. The whole point with the DM Tournaments feature (which is coming soon) is to provide a good place for competitive players, and offer some breathing space for the "casual" players.

 

I'm a case in point. I'm a crappy player. I mean, I really suck. So I play short battles just to have a god time. But invariably, I end up in teams where there are competitive players, and they get mad at me for not being skilled enough. So DM Tournaments should provide a platform for those players, while players like me who want to play casually, will be left to play with other similar players, making for a more pleasant environment.

 

Once we have that, we can also start thinking of lower level tournaments. It will all come together eventually. It'll take time, but we're moving in the right direction, I assure you.
