Too many insults

Everyday I get insulted in this game. I do nothing to instigate it (apart from destroying their tanks) but I get subjected to a barrage of abuse. Children play this game... so why is it allowed? If the chat cannot be moderated then it should be closed. Just my opinion.

The chat is moderated by the Chat Moderators but they can't sit in each server as there is not enough moderators to go in each server . The best thing to do is take a screen shot of their Swearing/Abuse and post it in the Chat Violators section of the forum

My opinion is...i agree with you, ghost-guns. i really do...

Don't make your mods Panzerkampfwagen Tiger tanks, over-engineering and putting quality over quantity is honorable, but I'd rather just deal with the spasming madman screaming profanities quickly rather than call the cops first..

The game rules prohibit use of foul language or abusive behavior. It's in our, the players, hands to choose whether we follow the rules or not. If we don't, we have to face the consequences. Moreover, the End User License Agreement(EULA) states that we must follow the game rules. If we don't, we're in direct violation of the EULA. EULA bears great importance for any game, it basically states what a player's rights and obligations are.

The chat is moderated by the Chat moderators team of Tanki. All communities have a large amount of chat moderators in order to cover time zones and distribute in servers. The moderators try their best. They aren't ninjas who can appear out of the blue when someone swears in any random battle.

Besides, players have the ability to report severe profane content they caught in the chats or forum. We're not here to chase bans, as the admins have repeatedly stated, so make sure you report only when most needed. We'll take care of it.

But It's Different in this Community , why ?

Cause the English Community Holding a lot of players from various countries , IMO we don't have enough chat Moderators , we don't even have enough chat Moderators for some languages , I mean even the Russian Community has More chat Mod's than our o_o

Closing the chat isn't a solution tho

Russians have more chat moderators because their community is quite large, it's pretty much a requirement for them to hire large amount of chat mods.

Our community has proportionally hired chat mods to our community-size.

And how exactly do you plan to 'deal' with such a guy?

Chase ban without talking it out? I don't think so.

Chat admins can best answer your question, but I'm sure that for a game like Tanki having several communities bearing a vast number of players, quality AND quantity is required as one. :P

Ignore them, just don't chat with them :D

Always if you need to report them take a screenshot of the chat violation (fullscreen) and post in the Chat Violators section. They will be given punishments. :)

Not all the time. Some of my reports contain the F word but the mod says that there is no enough reason for ban. They have their own policies. Reporting will not solve the problem. Ignoring will.

How would I deal with him?

Have someone TO deal with him on the spot.

I hate to talk down to the mods who do their best being human, but the place has become a hellhole! The forum is the only place with real protection, and even then that doesn't stop anyone.

Yes I understand the language barrier is an issue, but if we can escape our atmosphere and set foot on the moon I think hiring someone to organize EN community mods in a large supply isn't insurmountable.

You could disable chat or you can ignore that person in the main chat.

And also just politely ask the robber to put away his gun and ignore him.

I never understood calling people out for drugging in battles. If you're that bothered by it just leave or avoid them.

that is exactly what I think and that is exactly what I do, I just ignore them

I don't care for em' but I don't call people out, there's no honor in that.

If they want to shoot spitballs at people, by all means, let them. Someday they'll shoot at a buyer and he'll crush them with his golden M4 Thunder-Mammoth.

Only if reporting worked, which it doesn't for me. e-e Only furthers my opinion on the fact this game sucks.
