Micro Upgrades

Hello,

 

I recently asked in the Q&A section if i can upgrade my M2 Isida and M2 Dictator by micro upgrading them to the max and getting the next modification for free. I got back an answer, however i dont trust it since the person who responded was not clear in his response.

So this got me wondering if the devs should alter the MU system.

 

Here is idea...

 

• Say you have an M1 Titan, and you are a Generalissimo... you passed the required ranks for M2 and M3 Titan. In order to get the M3 you have to purchase it as a whole, even if you MU it, fully your not even gonna get the M2 mod. This can be proven since I fully micro upgraded my Vulcan M0 on my main acc. I did not get the M1 model. (I purposely did this since the Q&A mods dont really express their answers).

 

So why not make the MU's as a way to pay off the item one step at a time... Tanki said it themselves in  a Vlog that the total MU modification price will be the same price as it is for the actual modification (sorry for the way all of this is stated... i am being lazy atm)

Basically what im trying to say... is why not make the MU's as a way of financing.. or you gradually pay overtime, However the drawback of this is that you have to be certain of MUing M0 and M1 equipment... For M2 i think that there shouldn't be a limit on the amount of time you have to upgrade since the price will be over 140k.

There is no reason to do this, because if you are a Generalissimo (or close to it), then getting an M1 or M2 tank for free after fully upgrading the previous version is completely pointless as it is weak and useless at such high ranks. Think about it - right now you can fully MU your M1 item when you are a high rank and when you do that, you basically already have the M2 parameters, only they have the M1 visual model. If the game would then allow you to get the M2 for free when you already have M3 unlocked, it would probably result in you getting the M2 and wasting thousands more crystals upgrading that, when instead you could have saved up to buy M3 right away.

 

So basically, what you consider to be a problem is actually doing you a favour by preventing you from spending crystals on the wrong stuff.

As stated by my colleague, what is being done is based on a new update released some months ago — you are prompted to directly buy the highest modification possible for your rank to let you saw thousands of crystasl since, as you may have noticed, you will not have to pay for previous modifications.

 

You are a Generalissimo with Hornet M0 — you can directly buy Hornet M3 by paying ONLY Hornet M3's price, nothing else, you will not pay Hornet M1 and M2.

 

Obviously, in relation to MUs, if you are an higher-ranked user, you should not MU your M0 / M1 modifications since there will be no point in it — taking the example above, if you MU your Hornet M1 on 50/50, you will get Hornet M2 for free, but if you can already directly buy Hornet M3 and, so, get M1 / M2 for free, you will have wasted thousands of crystals on MUs :)

 

So, there is no point in that system since there is a more efficient one already inside the Game right now.
