Let's discuss unfair battles

Well, the only thing can change unfair battles to fair battleas are drug kits and communication. By communication I mean that to use chat or skype for something ingame  not for your fantasy stuffs.

One of the large clans has said publically in chat many times "no mults no win!" Tanki loves them because they buy lots of crystals. What does this say about the morals of tanki?

CLANS may use a lot of supplies/drugs.  However I think that you may find that everyone else pays for the supplies/drugs of CLANS.  They earn, if that is what it can be called much of their crystals in raiding parties.  Idirectly that propably causes a rise in use by their victims,  therefore Tanki is the ultimate Beneficary!

Battles aren't only unfair due to supplies. I noticed that even a few XP/BP battles often end up with one team crushing the other simply because of differences in the bases. For example on Noise in a format battle the blue side always wins since it's easy to defend and easy to capture. All you need to do is get to the enemy flag, grab it and jump down. The red side can only win with good coordination and a very skilled team. However, in a drug war the red side often wins because reds have the height advantage making it easier for them to deal with enemies coming from below, due to the difference in handling the turrets (which aren't all Railguns).

Same can be seen on other asymmetrical maps like Silence, Gravity, Kungur, etc.

My worst ever battle was at island; well it was quite fun but still unbalanced

Three mammoths who im fairly certain were freinds all had rock, isida and fully upgraded mammoths, we couldn't switch equipment and could only use twins and freeze, the battle went nowhere

yeah even down here at lower ranks Silence CTF is normally owned by the red team if they have enough Vulcan/Twins+Mammoths and a few isidas and maybe 2 flag runners cause the Mammoths and isidas will normally mine the ramps like crazy and drug . The only way Ihave ever figured out how to counter this is full drugged Hornet+Isida/Railgun/Twins and just fly up the ramp (press 1 as soon as I hit a few mines) land on the flag and fly down through the opening where snipers usually sit (that spot that if you jump from it it goes all the way to the bottom / ground) and hope you make it out alive ( and that there is not a mammy sitting there) Edited by fordmustang12345

I hate it when the enemy team is full of isidas.

Sometimes if the enemy team gets empty, some stupid clan takes over to raid the damn game.

In an XP battle, it all depends on me and my team. I can easily tell who's good or not.

Let's answer your question with a little scenario.

Imagine it. You've spent hours working up that battle fund. You're first place on your team. With this winning fund you'd be able to afford that upgrade you've always wanted. The enemy team is mostly empty, most of them ran away due to skilled teamwork of your team.

Suddenly, they start to join. You can recognize them by the ALL CAPS and U_n_d_e_r_s_c_o_r_e_s in their name. You merely have to glance at their profiles to know they're well-trained, top ratios with all m4s and hundreds of thousands of supplies used. It's then you finally know that you're being raided. In the span of 5 minutes, they managed to capture all the flags to close the wide gap that you've spent hours preparing. You look to your team and you see that they're strangely silent, they're not playing at that 100% capacity that you've seen them just a few minutes ago. They seem to be content at watching everything they've worked towards collapse right in front of them. No amount of cries of "mult" and /vote will do anything, you're just one tanker floating in a raging sea of apathy.

Congratulations! You've just been played. This nightmare scenario is all too common in Generalissimo ranks, but slowly this tactic is starting to creep down to the lower ranks. Even at my rank (Captain) I've started seeing more and more of this. Who can call it balance when your team has no chance to fight against an enemy of all top-tier kits? This, dear @avatarkyoshi, is the epitome of "unfair."

This has been going on for quite some time, at least 2 years to my knowledge at lower ranks also.  It is however become a much more frequent occurrence!  I used to think that it was just people using supplies/drugs but I trace some and they were CLAN.  It is very obvious who they are now.  The cause a lot of problems and unhappiness throughout the game.  They often will set up games with weaker players that lure the unsuspecting.  The game progresses and your team pulls ahead.  Then as if some switch were pulled the game suddenly explodes and players take over the other team,  All very well armed not just a few, all drugged not just a few.  They seam to be well disciplined each have their own function.  They soon have surpassed your team and amount a massive crystal total, particularly the CLAN hierarchy.

I have seen them load up teams and then pull players out of yours when there side is complete.  That is one of the ways they often end up with more players. Tthey will also plant MULTs in your team.  These MULTs will do anything from being obstructive, getting in the way, not scoring or not attacking any CLAN members.  They even will harry and push your team members over edges or block them if they are flag carriers or if you ar chasing the CLAN flag carrier.  I have even been insulted over game chat, called rude or sexually oriented and demeaning names and offered to quit the game and fight one to one somewhere else.  They are absolute pests and although they usually prefer longer games for obvious reasons, will attack shorter 15 min games also.  I try to avoid longer games but occasionally have failed to notice the game length and paid the price.

The best thing that the normal team can do, is all leave at the same time but that will not happen because of a lack of any coordination as might be expected.  Also the leading member of a team might have accrued quite good scores and they desperately try to protect their score.  It will be in vane however as your team collapses and you will only gain the losers bounty, far less than you may have expected.

I believe that CLAN excess is the reason why so many have become disenchanted.  Some may just see it as drug abuse but this is far more sinister and coordinated. They play a very cynical game indeed.  the normal players subsidizes the CLAN Garage.  The ordinary player buys the CLAN supplies/drugs.

Their need to be action by Tanki to curtail he CLAN excess.  I am not against the plane and accepted inter CLAN Wars, far from it.  I accept that they may feel the necessity to train.By Law professional Boxers have to be licensed and registered.  The Law is far more severe with them if involved in violent acts.  Their fist are classified as weapons.  I propose something similar to improve the game fo everyone else

All CLAN members should be identifiable, both electronically and visually.

Their should be a maximum of only 2 CLAN members in any one normal game.

This should be arranged electronically programed by the admin in order it can not be or overridden disobeyed.

CLANs should buy PRO Passes to practice and play if they want to engage with full teams and they should be by invite

Ordinary players should not be subjected to full or heavily subscribed teams in normal games.

Basically most of Polygon, Silence, and Noise and other maps like these which are popular for many people have druggers EVERYWHERE. I was in a Polygon CP and then came a drugging M1 Twins/M1 Mammoth and started camping at the centre. And guess what? Then came an drugging M1 Isida/M1 Viking camping in that little place in the center and healing the mammoth. It was impossible to take out the mammoth by the snipers since he was continuously healed. And we couldn't get close to get the isida since the mammoth had m1 twins and was drugging...........

I vividly remember joining a Future CTF with my newly-bought Viking M1 and the EXACT minute I spawned I was struck from above my an M1 Railgun shot and died immediately.

I just hit the "Nope" button and left, but it did give me a nice chuckle.

I think clans should have it easier to ay vs random. I think clans should have battles pop out that have a side thats about to win.

isnt this good?

It removes unfair battles and they can train.

bring the clans in.

im tired of the hate against clans teaming.

lets make battles more balanaced by showing the "auto finish battles highlighted

^ well played

I've been the victim of a takeover team. It's not fun, but in my opinion all's fair in war.

I've certainly joined my share of almost even battles and drugged my way to a team win and thus the spoils of crystals. I've also joined my share of winning teams just to take my share of that same pot.

All's fair.

Sure, clan takeover dramatically swings what should be predictable battle outcomes. But there is a pattern to watch out for. just keep your eye on the game timer. If you're more than halfway through the game when these guys show up, you stand a chance of preserving your lead. But if your enemies left early and druggers replace them, it's just time to find another battle. Your other option is to attempt to marshal your team into a semblance of order - assign midfield, defensive, offensive players and positions. For CP battles assign long and short range turret coverage of each point, and beg players to equip Isida to keep your muscle healthy.

Good luck!

Nah, doesn't work that way. Most likely your team let the outcome happen to them. It has all been planned way in advance. They won't listen to your pleas. Especially non English folks.

Princess, I though you quit Tanki. Are you still on the forums or do you still play too?

I just do missions & log off if you count that as playing...

Other than that, not really. I'm just waiting for new kick system from TO & see how it goes.

Gangs everywhere in TO now. Within 3 to 5 mins they can overturn everything & win.

Forum wise, I usually just log on to see what's new.
