Actually only the first couple of days are 1.25X battle funds. Then it goes up to 1.5X for a couple of days, then 1.75X for a couple of more days, then again 2X for two more days. That means there are increased battle funds for 9 days, which is a lot better than just having 2 days in total, especially for those who can't afford to spend 48 hours non-stop in the game.

 

Everything is good but no 50% sales we have been crying out for this for ages now....

Unfortunately, we can't have 50% off every time.

 

The gifts sound great.. but really 25% isn't even good at all for most non-buyers  :wacko: I hope we get 50% on TO birthday sale, pretty sure a lot of people will just leave for Tanki X if that doesn't happen  :rolleyes:

I think players play Tanki Online because they enjoy the game and community, not because there are XX% discounts. I understand that you want bigger discounts, but the statement doesn't really make much sense.

 

Expected increased Gold Box values like last year. Gifts look cool.

We'll get increased value Golds soon, just not this time  :)

IMHO i would be the happiest person on earth if i got that 25% On gifts rather than equipment... 25% on turret, hull and paint is kinda Negligible

Generalissimos aren't interested on Garage sale, We need Micro-upgrades sale ! How comes that u gave 50% off Micros and 80% off speed-ups last year and you give nothing this year !!

I don't see how a discount —no matter how small— can be useless. I understand you would've liked a bigger discount, but to say that this is useless isn't quite fair. After all, if we gave you 90% off, it still wouldn't have been as good as 95% off. So I think it's only fair to put things into perspective.

That's unfortunate. However, you need to appreciate that for players who hadn't MUd their equipment before, it was a pretty good deal. Really, it's impossible to please everyone at every given time. Of course we try our best, but the fastest road to failure is to try to please everyone.

 

big may sales just a joke! everybody keep your crystals..kits are the only things worth buying ...they killed us generalisimo players with micro upgrades in the past and then when they switched to new microupgrades system every noob that had only one of the mus fully upgraded they upgraded all parameters....i had to do new accounts because on generalisimo there were so few players....there are going to be fewer...till we all going to play with new accounts as noobs....big salute to all players especially old ones...

I think you're missing the point that sales also affect items with existing discounts.

I am so confused right now, The V-Log and the forum say to different things.

 

The forums says each event runs for 24hrs like stated above. But the V-Log says each event runs for 48hrs, each overlapping the other, like seen below.

 

 

Which one is correct? Cedric or a Mod that is 100% sure please clear this up. Thanks. :)

I apologize if you find the graphic misleading. What that means is that the paints sale is from 2:00am UTC on Monday 2nd, till 2:00am UTC on Tuesday 3rd — that's 24hrs. Same goes for the other sales.

We have all become so accustomed to being spoiled, that we take everything for granted.  That when we are offered something that appears slightly less than our expectations, pleadings and demands our reactions are overly strong.  It is a little like taking candy away from a spoiled child.  It balls its head off and throws its self around in indignation, it cuts its nose to spite its face.  It is fine and normal to feel perhaps a little disappointed if things might have change from the normal, if our expectations are unrealized but any more than that, is a pure indulgence and bad form.  Another way of looking at things however might be, if we had never become so accustomed to discounts and bonuses, then when we are offered even something small, we would be over the moon, ecstatic.  Perhaps we may have to postpone the upgrading or a special paint that perhaps we may have coveted but that will apply equally to many of our opponents.  Our competitiveness will not be any more diminished against many others,  So their is absolutely no need to feel so hurt.  We take a breath and just carry on.  This is only a game, it is not a life supporting commodity and we will still be materialistically better off than before.  If we want to have a slight edge, then all we need do it buy a small quantity of crystals and buy something useful for our garage.

We do it because it makes it a little bit easier for everyone to get the equipment they want, and obviously because it gets people to play more. Yes, it increases sales, but it also drops our "profit margin".

 

Personally, when I'm given a gift, I appreciate it for what it is; I never push it back into the person's face and get mad at him for not buying me something better.

 

I'm not saying you should be happy with 25% discount. That said, it's still a pretty good deal. We've slashed off 1/4th of the price on all equipment, plus the discount stacks with other discounts, which can build up to a pretty sweet deal.

 

If you don't want to buy anything, that's perfectly ok and I can accept that. But please, let's keep things in perspective  :)

It wasn't a "rush to comment" in my opinion, I agree with Uli.... sry your name is too complex :P . If they meant to do as you said, then it should have been this way: 

The straight lines should have been where the %s ended, and if that's the case the funds should have been done with the same reasoning as well...meaning they should have been longer till the 4th (talking about 1.25x fund)

 

I don't mind if it's a mistake, we'd just like an answer :P So if it is as you're saying then.... Isn't such a good sale as I thought :/

Lol XD nah it's ok, I just wanted an official answer since I wasn't quite getting what that was supposed to mean... Cos the battle funds where listed to what I consider 'normal' but the sales were listed in a different way so... Nvm :)

I still think the comment is a little bit unfair. If we kept making every sale and every celebration bigger, pretty soon we'd end up giving equipment out for free, or even giving crystals to players for "buying" equipment.

 

Some celebrations are big, others maybe not so much. If your partner stopped by a gift shop one day and bought you a tiny gift, I don't think you'd be upset because it's not the cellphone you got on your birthday (just an example obviously, I'm not implying you get cellphones on your birthday).

i agree Cedric not every company will give you great sales if they did then they would be out of business sooner then later..

 

i do play on other games and i looked into there sales and some would just make you cry on how little you get ..on sales to purchase or even in bonuses ..sure there cost is low in playing the game.. but even so it could be equal to about the same amount if you lowered the prices to there's prices ..it would be about  the same or even better in tanki..for the computation there sales are the lowest like only 8% on coins to the highest is about 25% ..

 

i have complained in the past.. but after looking into others games i came to the conclusion that ..we all need to remember this is a company who also needs to keep alive .and they also have bills and over cost to pay ...if they gave everything to us then this company would not stay alive for long...

i understand this is only about the cost of buying but it also is a little bit about %
