All events do not run on YOUR OWN location's time, but they adapt to timezones :)

25% bonus crystals for every purchase were available for 24 hours, from 02.00 UTC+0 on the 1st of May to 02.00 UTC+0 on the 2nd of May (speaking of UTC+0, London time).

 

Assuming you are in Canada (UTC-4), they run from 22.00 UTC-4 (10.00 PM) on the 30th of April to 22.00 UTC-4 (10.00 PM) on the 1st of May — this is all due to the timezones, we can't do anything to differ from a worldwide system as this one!

I blame tanki for over promoting multiple sales and giving ridiculously high discounts too frequently, the economy of the game was already damaged because of this back in 2013, instead of giving everyone false hope for high discounts, perhaps the best way is to have more events like april fools day or the Halloween celebrations last year

I agree that the April Fools celebrations were cool. In fact we intend to work on similar events.

Bonuses and Discounts

 

Of course, there can’t be a proper celebration without bonuses and discounts. So:

• From 02:00 UTC on May 1 till 02:00 UTC on May 2 — 25% bonus on all crystal purchases

 

 

The time is in 24h format, hence the zero before the "2". So, 02:00 is standard for 2:00am. Time is in UTC as specified in the post.

 

About the promo, it's 25% bonus on all crystal purchases. So, you buy a certain amount of crystals, but you get an additional 25% for free. It's not 25% off the price. The price is the same, but you get more crystals.

 

Also, if you made a purchase within the time frame specified for the promotion, and didn't get the bonus crystals, please get in touch with support so they can sort it out  :)

I hope Birthday celebration will be good as we haven't had a good sale since Christmas. We got so many discounts and x2 funds every week in 2014 (I assume) and we rarely get those now, only during special events :/

As possibly one of the few... I will not be buying anything this sale, just saving. But at the same point in time, I don't think the right response is anger, in fact, I'm not angry at all. I love this game and no matter what the sales are (or even if they happen), I say thank you all for the hard work you put into making this game better for everyone. I know it goes under appreciated.

I think players play Tanki Online because they enjoy the game and community, not because there are XX% discounts. I understand that you want bigger discounts, but the statement doesn't really make much sense.

i got an additional bonus discount on thunder today with the 25% sale(total 52 % dis) and i got thunder m3 for just 80k although thuder sux still pretty good in noise red side where i play the most :D :lol:
