Bonuses and Discounts

 

Of course, there can’t be a proper celebration without bonuses and discounts. So:

• From 02:00 UTC on May 1 till 02:00 UTC on May 2 — 25% bonus on all crystal purchases
• From 02:00 UTC on May 2 till 02:00 UTC on May 3 — 25% off paints
• From 02:00 UTC on May 3 till 02:00 UTC on May 4 — 25% off hulls
• From 02:00 UTC on May 4 till 02:00 UTC on May 5 — 25% off turrets

I am so confused right now, The V-Log and the forum say to different things.

 

The forums says each event runs for 24hrs like stated above. But the V-Log says each event runs for 48hrs, each overlapping the other, like seen below.

 

 

Which one is correct? Cedric or a Mod that is 100% sure please clear this up. Thanks. :)

I am confused too. In the picture it is clearly shown that the sales are overlapping, what would make the sales better, although It won't help me, players who were planning to buy a kit will be very happy, because they would kind of have a 50% sale.

Tomorrow on May 1st to May 9th 2016 the battle funds begins to increase along with discounts. Please tankers, the ones of you who are extremely strong, please join me on the Polygon map. Equip yourselves with Mammoth and Isida, plus Vulcan too.

 

The May Holidays 2016 will bring lots more funds in battles than usual, so please join my team tomorrow, be brave and strong, and remember to equip yourselves with Isida and Mammoth. Also please take lots of drugs with you so that our team would have greater chance to win. I will be creating a 1 hour Control Point (CP) battle on the Polygon map. We need to play as long as possible within the 9 days of May 2016 holidays. By killing and healing with Isida you have twice the advantage of ranking up and earning more crystals.

 

Starting from tomorrow, I shall be playing Tanki Online on server EN 2 (the most active English community server on Tanki Online), so stay tuned. Add me as your friend and I will add you too, to my friends list.

 

I am giving you those tips not to make a fool of myself, but to guide you strong players to win every battle on the Polygon map on server EN2.

 

I am not a chat administrator or moderator, just a standard Generalissimo player. If I was in the army in real life as a Generalissimo, I would give my best teachings to my allies who would be ranks lower than me.

 

Do not bother collecting gold boxes as they will distract the battles on the Polygon map. Instead, please help me to catch every gold box that drops, because 99% of the time I miss nearly every gold box that drops.

 

This post to players is not an abuse or hack, just a good suggestion for a super strong team of Isidas and Mammoths.

 

If you have any ideas or questions please post them on this post.

Mate, if you only want high funds and lots of crystals - play Wasp Fire or Hornet Rail battles with no supplies. Mammoth and Isida are literally the worst two items you could have for getting high funds.

 

Why? Simple: the combination of high Mammoth health, Isida's healing, Armour supplies, Repair Kits and protection paints you are making your tank live as long as possible. And the longer you live, the less crystals will be added to the fund from your deaths. Not that the number of crystals from each death will decrease, but there will be an overall lower number of deaths and therefore less crystals.

 

Remember that crystals are only added to the fund from players' deaths (a bit from capturing points as well), so if you aren't dying much in the battle, the fund will be low. One Isida is bad enough, but if a bunch of Mammoth Isidas are in a game together then the fund will be even worse. This is why Wasp Fire and Hornet Rail battles have highest funds. Players rarely live longer than 30 seconds and constantly die over and over due to very little armour, so the fund grows like crazy.

Why did you expect a 50% off? There has never been a 50% off in May... As far as I know atleast o.O you can't expect a 50% off every time there's a sale tho :/ besides, 50% is coming in a month more likely :)

We have all become so accustomed to being spoiled, that we take everything for granted.  That when we are offered something that appears slightly less than our expectations, pleadings and demands our reactions are overly strong.  It is a little like taking candy away from a spoiled child.  It balls its head off and throws its self around in indignation, it cuts its nose to spite its face.  It is fine and normal to feel perhaps a little disappointed if things might have change from the normal, if our expectations are unrealized but any more than that, is a pure indulgence and bad form.  Another way of looking at things however might be, if we had never become so accustomed to discounts and bonuses, then when we are offered even something small, we would be over the moon, ecstatic.  Perhaps we may have to postpone the upgrading or a special paint that perhaps we may have coveted but that will apply equally to many of our opponents.  Our competitiveness will not be any more diminished against many others,  So their is absolutely no need to feel so hurt.  We take a breath and just carry on.  This is only a game, it is not a life supporting commodity and we will still be materialistically better off than before.  If we want to have a slight edge, then all we need do it buy a small quantity of crystals and buy something useful for our garage.

this is not what we saw in the v-log. The v-log showed us that crystal and paint; paint and hull; hull and turret sales would happen at the same time

No, not at all, it is not "sucking up" it is just saying the obvious.  Frankly I find all the balling, wailing,and hair pulling responses of many with utter contempt. I am merely posting to suggest another view of things from a different perspective to sooth the hysteria of the adolescent mind.  For my part I have to constantly remind my self, that many on here are probably spoiled children because of the sort of behavior and posturing that one commonly experiences on these pages is so obviously written by immature hands.
