Fixing frequent bugs

Now we have an opportunity to let you enter the game in debug mode. It will help us to show the details of appearing bugs in your browser or standalone player and on our server as well.

 

At first you should install Flash Player in debug mode.

Section Adobe Flash Player 10 — Debugger Versions (aka debug players or content debuggers)

Widespread bugs:

1. Tank that cannot be killed

2. Invisible tank

3. Flag cannot be taken or set on the base (when team flag is in its place and enemy flag, when it's taken to own base, is not accounted)

4. Own tank disappears

5. Connection closed (bug with Yota was fixed, but certain bugs still exist)

6. Critical error

7. When loading the battle you see gray screen, chat and hear battle sounds

8. The tank was killed but there's no respawn

I sent a bug report about the following:

 

Player Damos was in a game as if he was spawning (transparent) for the whole game, never played, over an hour. This was a CTF game, and it unbalances it, because it left us 1 player short, even though 6 v 6 was showing. I am not sure if this is a bug, but it sucks. Too bad players can't be kicked by anyone, or auto kicked if they don't fully spawn, or if they just sit there for an hour. Even other team couldnt shoot him because he was transparent.

I think that happens when the player has clicked "play" to join the game, but the map is still loading. Maybe, but I have notied this bug.

With all due respect, I think you misunderstand. This problem is one where a person stayed transparent during the whole game, for over an hour, never moved or responded to chat. The reason its a problem is because CTF games try to stay balanced with respect to even number of players on both sides. If one side has 7 players, and the other side shows 7 players but one of them is either stuck, or whatever, then its actually a game where one side has 7 players the other 6, effectively. Its unfair. The server should sweep the game for stuck or time players out to avoid camping and this type of bug, imho.

Another one is when you just got killed, your tank looks like its dead(No Colours)

9. tank moves through other tank.

 

The tank moving through you, cannot see you.

 

The bug is solved when either one of your refreshes.

 

thats not the case. and the 'fix' of a refresh???? so if its a large game and there are many tanks with this problem i have to multiple refresh? you call that a 'fix'??

i have tried the 'fix' and it doesnt always work. when it works for one tank still others have the same problem - ie a refresh doesnt solve the problem for all tanks just some.
