Animal discrimination in the chat

Yesterday someone in the chat said i love animals, and there was bunch "people" started to discrimante him and saying so ugly stuff, and describe how would they kill animals. I dont know how someone cant hate innocent creatures but this is not place to argue about that, i just want for those people to get punishment, at least ban in the chat.

I reported but nothing... and there was chat admin and he was just ignoring situation. :(

Well, I have to say that there is nothing against the rules for this, except arguing just for the point of arguing. I do believe innocent animal killing is wrong, even if they do taste good. God made them all for a purpose, which is not to be killed for no reason.

Bans can only be dealt out if they violate the game rules. Chat moderators can't ban people for just describing/promoting violence against animals- I suppose that if the people in question were describing killing animals in really graphic/inappropriate terms, that would be grounds for something, but otherwise, not really. If someone were to promote killing other people, that would be against the rules, but animals typically aren't considered people and they don't have that kind of protection.

 

I think it's mean to berate someone for just saying that they like animals (or really just enjoying harming animals in the first place), but if it doesn't violate any of the other rules then no bans or warnings can be given- the chat mod in this case was probably in the right by not intervening.

A sticky issue, to be sure. I think @Thekillerpenguin nailed it with his response - while perhaps distasteful or wrong, not against the Tanki rules, and thus not in the mod's jurisdiction.

 

Btw, I support eating animals, but not killing for sport. Dragons never kill animals for sport.
