Since you had no limits in writing down the paint's name.

But the 1 thing that made me unsure was that M at the start of it. Not going to complain here anymore,I had around 2-3 faults, but the biggest problems were the starting letter, not the limit of letters and the second was that 1 more paint suited there perfectly and it was last day of the current holiday too (they are not separated anymore)

Sorry, you based yourself on the image itself — there is something I forgot to mention: this week's riddle was the HARDEST LEVEL of all crosswords.

The image we used in the form was just a refence, a trick :)

If you noticed, not all the answers matched with it — this is another example of seeing if users are able to "think out of the box". I am unfortunately aware that the unintended additional mistake with Row 5 caused issues tho. The only difficulty we planned for this week's riddle was to have an image unrelated to the answers, sorry :)

wow... so countless people put the incorrect answer because of a typo but nothing will be done? I thought this project was going well so far but the tide is turning in my eyes. Honestly don't really care about the 10k at all, just that the heads of the project can't compensate players because of a mistake they made. So what if the form still allowed you to enter a longer answer? If the crossword only allows a certain amount of letters, that's how many most people will enter... at least the last I checked that was how crosswords worked.

A single typo is not an issue. As I said right above, we planned to trick users a bit, but we copied the "trick" into the answers — in the image, Row 5 was planned to be 6 letters long to trick users, but we unfortunately copied that length in the hints for Row 5 :)

Issho it's length not lenght. Sorry, but spellings should be corrected especially when you see a whole form full of:' lenght x letters'

And for the 5th, the 10 letter word will be accepted, right?

Yes, I am aware. I must admit that this week's riddle seems to be a mess, but it is not. If you read all my posts, you will see a pattern for what has been done — the mistake you reported has been caused by the system I used to copy paste hints, pardon me once again :)

For your second question — yes, it will!

in a crossword? I have to disagree with you there

Not in the crossword, but in the hints to it. You better read the explanation I gave above — paints' names are unique, so even if it was mistakenly written "6 letters", the paint's name was still the same, sorry.

Why did you put an unrelated picture of a crossword? Than this answers were not a crossword after all. This is not a trick or a riddle to me....
And May9th was also a possible entry for the answer N.5, since it fitted perfectly even though the number 9 had to be used..

Well thank you so much for this error. Since the survey cannot be retaken I, unlike you, cannot fix it. Thank a lot

Issho, you kidding me? Pic doesn't relate to the answers? Why did you name it crossword then? If you named it something else, then your trick would've been good. I've wasted an hour in this -.-

I thought the pics were related too. Thanks for making me lose an 1 1/2 of my day. I really appreciate it Issho.

I am really sorry if this is making you upset, really. This week's riddle was still a crossword, it just had a little "hard step" into it. As I said above, the only "hard step" we planned was to have a little trick in the image, only one.

Unfortunately, that trick fooled us to and we copied its length in the hints — this caused these issues :)

If "Row 5" mistake was fixed in time, I am sure that you would have had less issues, really. In any case, as I said above, paints' names are unique (apart for celebrative ones, where you could use the same for multiple answers ;)), so even if the hint was wrong, the name to be submitted was still the same one.

Wait so, if it was a Holiday paint of Tanki's Birthday, is answering "TankiBirthday" or "BirthdayTanki" the same?

Careful, Isso is tricky, might be trying to get your hopes up for nothing XD

Nah, I am not MEAN, just tricky. I would not attempt to fool someone so much :)

@joe123_Superman, the intent of this project is to make riddles and to give some fun to users — I am sorry that this week's riddle was seen as an issue, but MANY users found this funny, challening.

On a side note, we already got more than 50 users that sent ALL CORRECT answers, I am already reviewing all entries :)

Just so you know, the fastest user that gave all the correct answers compiled the form in 7 minutes and 9 seconds!

I use emojis to express feelings, I've been told I use them too much even though I use them ONLY to express or emphasise special phrases.

Wait so, if it was a Holiday paint of Tanki's Birthday, is answering "TankiBirthday" or "BirthdayTanki" the same?

Yes mate, as I said before, we will accept all the declinations of these answers as long as they are CORRECT!

This is why I said that, apart for the trick in the image, this week's riddle was not so impossible ;)

last I checked, a crossword isn't a crossword without the hints, but oh well..

and no worries, I did read what you said, I just feel that it's quite irrelevant. the way I THOUGHT crosswords were supposed to be done is you check the hint, and find a word which fits the amount of spaces given. guess I learn something new every day, spaces given are unnecessary.

guess we can't get too upset since you have no obligation to give us anything at all, at least some people will walk away happy.

Why did I see 2 tricks then? There were 2 answers that the pic didn't match with. Row 5 and Column 6.

No, sorry :)

Column 6's answer was 8 letters long (PROOF) and the related hint as well (PROOF).

I am fully aware of what do you mean with your question, but the answer to it is that the celebration you are speaking of has two different names — I've sent a PM to you with an explanation, official answers will be given on Friday :)

You are too happy, but you are hurting some of us by giving up s so much hard missions and forcing us to use our brains (!)

Well, there are different kind of crosswords, to be honest!

I am not sure if you are aware that there are "blank" crosswords, i.e. crosswords were you have a set of questions and must write their answers down to match / combine with each others — these are the hardest crosswords I ever did and we took the idea from them. We never said that riddles would be easy, not always at least, we warned everyone that the level of difficulty would randomly increase or decrease ;)

No, it's not OK, just because you like him lol. Some people have a problem for the crossword.

The riddle was intended to be hard, sorry. With the first riddles, users complained they were too easy. Now, with latest riddles, users complain they are too hard — it is impossible to satisfy everyone and this is why we have different levels of difficulties, it is up to you to find your own level to play on.

Sorry, but forcing you all to "use your brains" should not be hurting at all — I suppose that using them properly is, INSTEAD, something really important :D

  • Row 5 (Lenght: 10 letters) — FIXED
There were not other fields with a wrongly noted lenght :)

I am sorry for this mistake, I double-check each form before it is released, but sometimes a little detail can be missed out.

In regards to your concerns about what will happen, the reply is only one: nothing.

Since you had no limits in writing down the paint's name, once you found the mistake and the right name to submit, you just had to do so. I am aware that this may sound a bit harsh, but MANY users already submitted winning entries, so this was not impossible to be done.

One thing that I must notify to everyone is that there was not a "fixed" way to submit an answer — you were asked to write paints' names WITHOUT the space (for example, "TankersDay", not "Tankers Day"), but I am accepting all the answers, what matters to me to define if an user gave a correct answer is that THE PAINT'S NAME IS CORRECTLY MATCHED TO THE PAINT SHOWN.

So, for example, if USER-A wrote "TankersDay", USER-B wrote "Tankers' Day" and USER-C wrote "Tankers Day", all these replies will be considered as CORRECT :)

Do not worry dears, I am the head of this project, I am not blind to your complaints, to your feedbacks and to your suggestions — I would never do something to create despair or caos, what I care for you all is to have FUN and REWARDS ;)

That is unfair, as on the the crossword picture it was 6 boxes long! Maybe you put the wrong paint! But you're kinda blaming people who put the correct answer at that time so I think anyone who put that 6 letter word in the answer box before you changed it should be allowed, it was your fault for not `triple` checking it, and everyone after that time that has put that 10 letter word should be allowed. This is the fair only way because some people don't use Wikipedia for answers.
