From this week's challenge onward (01/11/2016 onward), the rewarding system for Tanki Thinking Challenges will change:

• Every Tanki Thinking Challenge will reward 10'000 crystals to those winning it
• Gold Boxes' prizes will be increased, from 1 to 5 Gold Boxes to a random user picked between all the participants
• Winners will be identified in two different ways:
  • TOP10: 10 users that gave all correct answers and were the fastest ones to send them
  • RANDOM40: 40 users randomly selected between all those that sent correct answers
• Tanki Thinking Challenges will open on Tuesday, 18.00 UTC (as always) and close on Wednesday, 18.00 UTC — 24 hours

 

This new system will reward fastest thinking users as well as allow us to reward ANYONE, from any timezone, letting them be able to participate and win, finally removing the "discrimination of timezones". Due to the "randomized" aspect of picking winners, challenges will not stay open for 4 days, but just for 1 day.

So, in short, we will still be awarding those fast thinking tankers, but we will also increase the possibilities for everyone else, in all timezones, to win!

Btw, for the GBs, the main idea is to give a worthy prize to one participant instead of a small prize to 5 ones. Everyone has a chance to get it and the thrills are higher if you have 1 chance on 500 (for example) than 5 of 500, if you get me ;)

can't u increase the first 10 fastest to first 20??? its too smaller number n the quiz even if rightly answered will bcm a matter of sheer chance tis will also discourage those who regularly await n fill the quiz fast. just a suggestion if u get me.

It is the other way round actually. To be sure of winning you must be in the TOP10, otherwise your chances will be lower and based on randomness, thus winning is not as easy as before.

what my take is from this is that if you are fastest in , but you might not be in the top 10 due to now , your taking the top 10 times with correct answers from all the time zones so this way no one will loose out on the fastest .. ??

Well, no. There will be 50 winners like before. Except:

~10 winners will be the top 10 fastest players with right answer.

~40 winners shall be selected from rest of the lot. These 40 shall be selected randomly so everyone who didn't get the top 10 positions will have a fair chance regardless of when they entered.

Exactly, but also keep in mind that only "users sending ALL correct answers will be considered in the prizes assignation", be it TOP10 or RANDOM40.
