Hi there people. 'Sup?

So basically yeah, when I search any nicknames or sentences or words with dots/full-stops/periods in it, they disappear. Like, when I search my name, this happens:

Not a problem for me.

If it doesn't work using the mini-search, try using the advanced search.

Also try putting the name in speech marks and searching like that: "Sr.i3oss"

Are you sure your typing that? Or missed accidentally. Due to ghosting or stuff.

100% sure. I tried other nicknames as well. It's the dots that don't work. Dashes and Underscores are fine.

Hi

If you are searching for someone's nickname, then you need to change that "forum" to "members", it's right next to search box, and once you change it to "members" search any players nickname you want. I'm not sure if you have done that.

It is working when you change it to "members" - but I remember it was possible to seach our name on the forums. Like searching forum for posts including your name (Such as clan pages etc.)

If you're saying the problem is that punctuation doesn't work with searches, that's because only underscores are included in search terms, everything else gets omitted.

Here a search example for a name with special characters of a number that does actually have posts on this forum to find.

That's with the general "find words" box - any punctuation used in that box is ignored, apart from underscores. In short, punctuation works fine in the "find author" box (and in the box "find tags" one but that's less useful).

If that isn't your problem, it'd probably be helpful to explain your problem clearly as that'd probably help. :P

Dayum boy. You got us thinking for sure!

I've been working on a solution for you. It seems to be the only way to search your nickname by content at the moment. However, it does have a little bit of a drawback - it filters your nickname in a bit older content and orders it that way as well. The content-ordering can be fixed as well but requires a bit of work on it. :)

The forum seems to be glitching with your nickname and does not search the little fullstop you have in your nickname. As a result, it shows all results found for SrI3oSS - which is literally no content at all.

If you search one word using the search option, it'll filter the whole forum and find content matching that search key/word. If you add a space to separate the search key/word, it'll filter the two at once and separately. It'll show content which partially match with the search keys. If I search "Sr", it'll show me every content containing "Sr" in it. Nothing more. If I search "Sr I3oSS", it'll search all content either completely matching to this search key OR partially matched content. The space thing works for your nickname. I can see 5 pages of content when I search with the space.

As for the post dates, you can alter that as well. Just go to the little gear like icon for advanced search. Looks like this: NIytiG.jpg

Once you do that, search "Sr I3oss" and fix a date for searching content matching the search key.
