Appeal | Improvment of the In-game Ban System

Hi guys, first of all, let me make this clear. I am not lying and I don't even know how to start this topic nor do I know that you will support me or anything else. But, lets begin.

 

So, day before yesterday, I was with these guys: Darren4Turbo, Penguin40, HyperQuantum, aaa20023, GrenLantern, Helindu2014. I was in several battles with them. The reason I was with them is because I am writing this article for AW called: 'Friends In Tanki - What It Takes?' and their are scenarios in it like you should heal them, you should play Wasp-Fire together, you should go parkour together etc.

 

Here are some of the shots I took to show you that I am not lying (You can ask those guys as well):

Then we went onto the Parkour thing. I had to think of a map in which 5-6 of us could do parkour and reach different levels to make one guy get to the top. And so, I chose Rio. The houses of Rio.

 

GrenLantern made the ramp next to the boxes. I got up, HyperQuantum got up, Darren4Turbo got up, Penguin got up but left the game, Helindu also got up but left, aa20023 and random guy called vasp1 or pasv1 I think, was left.

 

We reached the top and only one level was remaining on top of which D4T was to go and I was to take a screenshot. At this time aa20023 started to 'show-off' his BP skills and started to troll us. I wanted Gren to come up since he was the only one with M3 Hornet and that meant using aa20023 as ramp.

 

This was the exact chat in that battle (no screenshot, because.. you will see. You can ask those guys)

 

DestroyerPdox: Gren, I need you to come up.

GrenLantern: ok, tell aa to make ramp.

DestroyerPdox: Darren, stay there. Don't fall.

Darren4Turbo: ok

DestroyerPdox: aa please make a ramp.

GrenLantern: He rocking too much. He's not stable.

DestroyerPdox: aa, please make a stable ramp.

DestroyerPdox: aa! Stop multing.

DestroyerPdox: ass please!

DestroyerPdox: OMG! aa*

Player DestroyerPdox has been banned for an hour. Reason: Flooding.

 

Like, literally? I accidentally wrote 'ass' because I was typing to fast. Then, when I try to amend or correct the guys name, so he doesn't actually think I called him a a**, I get banned?! Like, seriously? The system bans for an hour for nothing! It ruins my karma.

 

Now, I can't go apply for a Wiki mod, a Chat mod, a Forum mod because they will think that I am a immature noob who trolls everyone in a battle! Last time I got a one-day ban was back in 2015. I literally waited for a year to actually get a job and now this undeserved ban has ruined it all.

 

I can't believe this. Now I get called a noob troller, a noob rule-breaker just because of this actual noob ban system.

 

Please. I'm not lying. Maf, Issho, you know me and you know D4T. You can ask him. You can tell that I am not lying because I wouldn't waste hours of my time trying to take screenshots in several maps!  So... Please either remove this ban from my karma or stop considering that I deserved it. The first option would be much better though.

 

And one last thing: Improve this in-game ban system so that it identifies real flooding and spamming and not someone typing quickly to correct a tankers name. It identifies 'aahjcjscaZxZJcgzaasjdhak' as spamming or 'noob noob noob noob noob noob' as flooding not that example I gave you above ^.

Side-note: Guys. Don't make comments like 'Noob, whatever. you don't need a job in Tanki just play the game.' or 'I don't care about bans so you shouldn't too'.

Please discuss only about the relative topic and if that ban should or shouldn't be removed from my karma. If you support me or not. If you think I am lying or not.

I understood what you're speaking about...I'll tell you something, that I was told (either by a mod or by those at the helpdesk (email), don't remember):

Don't remember the exact words, but the conclusion:

The auto ban system sees your forum posting and server chat posting activities, along with your previous karma....

When I was a newbie to TO, I used to get banned for every 5th message that I typed on chat, every time...and each time, got banned for a day...that to without any warning..

Okay, back to point...

That means, if someone posts too frequently in forum games and/or server chats, he is more vulnerable to be banned by autoban system, than others...

 

Ever noticed, that some people are able to type an 'all caps' message on servers, and for some, even a single word done caps in a normal messages, gets reverted to normal?..

That happens due to the automated system, cos of the same reason mentioned above...

 

And yeah, you mistook something, you weren't banned for writing 'ass'...auto ban doesn't process such things..auto ban just sees your post frequency, nothing else...

 

P.S: OK, I agree with what you said that the auto ban was wrong, but it happened due to your previous posting/chatting activities, and none can be blamed for this...

Since antiflood system is automated, as already said, no point complaining about it here since we cannot do anything about it.
