[Declined] Multiple fake zones around the real gold drop zone

Recommended Posts

This gold box mark system is very unstable because there are extreme stacks of players waiting gold. making that golds trigger somer nearby places (about 2 or 3) would make chance for some other players to catch it instead of just heavy tanks waiting there for gold

Declined

The gold box is already very randomised and on larger maps not even light tanks manage to find the drop zone in time, while heavy ones barely ever get a chance to even come close to the gold. Besides, even if a heavy hull does occupy the zone, most of the time light hulls with recoil turrets like Hammer get on top of them and take the gold box anyway. Your idea won't even help that much. The gold box takes 10 seconds to come down on the ground, meaning that by the time it falls, everyone would have figured out where it's falling and which of the nearby drop spots are fake.

If you then say that the "fake zones" should be made far apart, in different corners of the map, then I think that just makes the gold unnecessarily random and it's just a mean thing to do to players.

This could be done on something like April Fools Day or something, but normally, is too evil <_<

But removing the drop zone would make it into old Tanki where there was no gold drop zone and ideas regarding changes to previous versions of Tanki are not accepted .-.

sorry lol

No one's removing the drop zone, but someone is trying to move it to the place where there are less amount of tankers. Place inside the map.

Sometimes it could help. I was playing on huge map with bridges. I was 5 props away from drop zone and went away from it because i didnt saw it (This would help me alot that time)

so i went to check second bridge what was far away when i saw gold was already falling and our teamate with horny m2 took it.  <_<

I was responding to fordmustang's comment .-.

Just a little tip:

On a typical forum, if you're responding to a post directly above (as in your post will be directly under it once posted), you don't quote it, but if there's a post between where your post will be once posted and the post that you want to respond to, you quote it. ;) I got it from Lhamster, I think. One of the staff guys.
