No Goldboxes Dropped

This is a battle I was currently playing. As you can see, the battle fund is 10,005. I heard moderators and developers saying that as the battle fund grows, a goldbox is more likely to drop and when the fund reaches 10,000, there is a 100% chance for a goldbox to drop. 

 

I played in this battle for the whole half hour and not a single goldbox has fallen. May I know why?

For every crystal that a battle fund goes up by, there is a 1/10,000 chance of a gold box dropping, which means it is random. Think of a wheel with 9,999 slots being blank and 1 slot being the gold box, every crystal the battle fund goes up by, the wheel spins, and if it lands on the single gold box mark, one will fall. Sometimes a gold box can drop with a fund of only 32 crystals, that happened to me when I ranked to Generalissimo, and even if the fund goes up to 100,000 crystals, there is still a possibility of gold not dropping at all.

Wait the battle seems like its one hour .. You said you played half an hour ..

 

Maybe the gold dropped before you came .

It is just on paper, there is no 100% chance of it dropping :/ Think of a normal dice: you have a 1/6 chance on paper to land the number 6. So theoretically, if you throw it 6 times you should get the number 6 once. In reality, you can throw it 10 times and never land on 6, or you can throw it 6 times and it always lands on 6 so.. :p

No Administrator or Helper will ever say such a thing, not even users would — the exact reason ca be seen below:
