Invalid Reworking of ''Test Drives''

The title pretty much explains itself. I've never got one, do they even still exist? :ph34r:

I have only gotten one and that was over a year ago.  It was testing out a thunder and hunter modification.  I used it for a minute in one battle, saw it wasn't an effective combo, and switched to another one...I didn't know that after I switched I wasn't allowed to test it again. :/

I actually agree with you here. I keep getting personal discounts every other week, but only got 1 or 2 test drives in the whole time they existed. Test drives are only for 1 battle and don't actually give players an economical advantage, so I don't see why they need to be so rare...

 

Could also be a bug. Or perhaps the game doesn't give you as many test drives when you don't have as many items left to buy in the shop. I'm talking about items you don't have at all, in any modification.

They are too rare. I too get personal discounts often, but never a test drive. I get more super missions than test drives, while I've only been generalissimo since 31 March.

I got a thunder m2 test drive when I already had m1 at Lt.Colonel. It's the only test drive I ever got.

That whole update (Test Drives and personal disocounts) needs to be reworked. Test drives are far too rare to start. Personal Discounts also need to be more often, and you shoudl be able to choose what equipment it is on. If this upcoming sale is not 50%, we can be sure that personal discounts are supposed to cover the amount of 50% sales we used to get. However, they do not do that. I have only gotten about 6 all together on both of my accounts. I used 1 on my alt (was for smoky M1), and have not used any on my main. The reason? It is not on the equipment that I need. I have yet to get a PD on M3 equipment. Sorry for getting a bit off topic here, just felt like sharing what I think about that whole update.

Ivé gotten around 4 personal discounts (M3 Smoky, Freeze, Mammoth, Dictator) but only one test drive, for M3 Twins. When, you ask? I can't remember exactly, but it was a very long time ago, and I specifically remember because I was offered it when I was joining a parkour mode battle.

I remember someone suggested somewhere that players be allowed to have a test drive for a certain amount of time and they can use whatever during that time and have access to use the test-drive-offered equipment when they want to. Or when a player is given a test drive, they can only use it in one battle but they can choose which battle to use it in.

I don't even get personal discounts that often.... but when i do I always get M2 Vulcan at 41% off everytime idk why. I was really happy when I heard of the devs releasing the test drives and then we all realized that the update did nothing to the tanki.

I agree with you guys here, PDs occur often enough, no need to increase their rate. But, Test Drives... I got once for Vulc M2 at the rank of Brigadier. That was over 6-7 months ago.
