Ahem. I have Predator on my WO4 account but that is an M1 kit hah, and I'm a Brigadier but wanna participate cause I'm really still in the midranks. I do have Mosquito and Tornado equipments (not the module tho), as well as Avalanche equipments. Can I participate?

 

On a side note, this is gonna help me a lot on my WO4 alt when I build my main enough xD And by enough I mean at least a few M3s with enough MUs, or maybe an M4.

Sure, go ahead. I'd suggest writing an experience facing one of the kits though.  ;)

Hmm... I think you could equally write from the perspective of using the kit, it'd be a similar enough experience. And also, since the update was quite recent, I'm sure most kit owners will have bought their kits before it!

It was just another game on Sandbox CTF. I was using the powerful combo of Dictator M2, Ricochet M2, and the Sandstone LCG, which I had obtained from the boar kit a few months ago. The enemy team consisted of a few M2 xp players, along with a smoky and wasp. They were a team that, without me being there, would easily win the game. Their combinations are often seen on the battlefield. I joined with my team down 4-1, and the resolve to only use supplies if I absolutely needed them to execute the comeback. After about 10 minutes, my team was on top. I had most of the captures, and also had double the experience of the second place player on my team, despite joining the battle late- and I had only used a few double armors.

 

There was more to this battle than this. Right after my team first took the lead, the gold siren rang. I almost knew that I was about to be 1,000 crystals richer. I self-destructed, and looked for the drop zone during that time. I figured out where it was, and equipped a double armor, while hiding behind a wall. I then saw the gold dropping, blocked away any enemies, and comfortably let the gold fall on my massive tank. Almost no effort, and I already had made more crystals than everyone else in the battle, not counting the fund.

 

I earned around 500 crystals from the fund. This is in a 15 minute game, with the highest rank being major. 1,500 crystals, and it was so easy that it was simply fun. If you decide to purchase the boar kit, expect situations like this to happen. This battle was against ranks where I was the median. Against higher ranks, all the way up to Marshal, I can still battle enough to help my team. I am not just a low-level player that is the equivalent of a mult, I am a part of that team, and can help out wherever. Of course, against lower ranks, there is 0 competition. I am capable of completely destroying M1s with little to no effort.

 

If you are going to buy an M2 kit, I would suggest boar. You will be the king of the game without drugs. With drugs, you will be just what the hull is named- a total dictator. Nobody, except for other kit-buyers (which are not often seen) will come close to you.

ANACONDA 

A good turret and hull dont wanna say about the Paint but module is also fine so here are my opinions:

Anaconda kit is a very good kit if you know how to use it unlocks at -   its price is 141 525  it is very good  for mid to long range battles as it has m2 dictator :

M2 DICTATOR

M2 dictator unlocks at  but it can be bought at  becuause of this kit M2 dictator is very good when it comes to  catch gold boxes because of its Height and Speed at Mid range battles like Polygon its full price is 108 700 it does not go too good with Vulcan but it can be very destructive if know how to use it.

VULCAN M2 

Vulcan is also another very good turret it can also be used at big maps it has a good angle and can shoot anywhere its price is 111 650 it has a very good impact force and can flip a wasp and hornet the best trick is to get an isida back to you so you can still shoot without stooping but you probably need to upgrade  it so you can still use it at a bit high ranks.

PYTHON

Python is the paint of this kit as it is very good looking ecspecially its outlines its price in 100 000 crystals.

Panda D-B M2

Panda is the module of this paint well snake and panda :p well i do really like the developer who putted this because this module give protection against Shaft and shaft is used allot in long range battles so it will give an advantage and Freeze well it will freeze it causing slow movement so it can give protection.

 

GAMEPLAY:

HIGHLAND:

It is probably a very destructive combo in Highland in both bases well there are bit places in which it will easily die but try to stay near the corner house so the enemy wont be able do destroy you easily as well your main enemy would be attackers try always attack them and wherever they will run you can easily kill them.

 

KUNGUR

Kungur is also a very good map for this your main place should be anyway near the bridge so you can easily kill anyone on their base most likely near the  flag and you can also kill people going up from the bridge.

NOISE

This combo can be very destructive in noise because in lower base you can go towards the flag and easy shoot and at upper base stand near the stair and you can shoot any incoming enemy.

Nope, 500 words is the maximum word limit. We can't make exceptions on this occasion - else, the word limit may as well be 550 words, or 600 words.

Hello,  

 

and welcome tankers to my first kit review. This is only the second kit I have bought so far in TO, my first being Firefly. To be fair; I bought this kit while the modules update was being introduced and kits had wildly varying prices. I bought mine for 109,000 crystals without any protective module or paint, therefore I won't include them in the review. So, I basically got Dictator M2 free as Thunder costs the same. That aside, let's have a look at the kit.

 

 

 

It contains:

Thunder M2

Dictator M2

Sandstone

Kodiak T-D M2

 

It costs 164,065 Crystals and is available from  Third Lieutenant to  Captain.

 
The main reason I purchased Simoom was to replace my ageing M1 Viking and also, my Railgun, I also have a significant interest in parkour and Thunder is the best turret for that. I don't actually use the combo together very often, usually, I have Thunder with Wasp, and Dictator with Twins, thus; I only have an average of 26 hours experience across the kits components.

So let's have a look at the pros and cons of the individual components.

 

Thunder M2.

 

PROS:

Very close damage rate as its M3 equivalent. (15% less)

Highest recoil of any weapon. (Excellent for parkour)

Relatively fast rotational speed compared to Railgun.

'Jump effect' can be used to destabilize enemies.

Can self-right medium hulls, -in this case- Dictator.

 

CONS:

Self-damage.

Makes light hulls unstable due to high recoil.

Expensive.

Requires three shots to destroy an equivalent Wasp or Hornet.

 

Dictator M2.

 

PROS:

Excellent for Goldboxes.

Effective parkour ramp.

 

CONS:

Slowest medium hull.

Awkward to maneuver in tight spaces.

Height means that rocks don't provide particularly effective cover. (Notably in Monte Carlo)

 

Sandstone.

 

PROS:

Effective camouflage in Desert themed maps.

CONS:

-none-

 

KODIAK T-D M2 (These are not from my experience)

 

PROS:

Protection against Thunder,  therefore almost eliminating self-damage.

CONS:

-none-

Conclusion:

 
I purchased the kit at  Captain for 109K, which is what I was going to get Thunder M2 for -that is an absolute bargain- otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. Anyone who can afford to purchase it at Third Lieutenant should do so. As you get to Captain however, I suggest you look into kits such as Minotaur, Jam and Annihilator , the latter applies unless you enjoy parkour as much as I do. Annihilator is extremely expensive though Viking M2 will serve you much better into the future. All in all, I think Simoom is excellent as a garage, not a kit, by this I mean, using Thunder with Wasp, Dictator with Twins/Ricochet, Sandstone with anything. Only use the kit together when gold hunting, speaking of that, the first battle I entered with Simoom, I caught a Gold. :D That is the only memorable battle I have with this kit.

Simoom comes with KODIAK T-D M2, not the module you mentioned. ;)
