Which is the best browser for playing TO and why?

This poll is relatively new so not much to go on but, I can honestly say some of those I have nevered played tanki on. I am not even sure how to play it though flash player itself, as why do I need to download it, when I have it built into Chrome. 

 

IE is outdated don't use it! You can get viruses, and  eventually tanki won't work in IE because the flash version will go up but  IE has been discontinued. 

 

As for FireFox it is ok, however I am a Support volunteer (yes at 16 I am a programmer and support open source, not games tho as it takes the fun away but things like browsers) And I get complaints that flash doesn't like to function in FireFox. Which they know is to a certain degree true, but still it is ok. 

 

Safari isn't outdated by no means, but If you are on windows, safari for windows, yes at one point they had it, has been discontinued, and I don't think is downloadable anymore. So it would be something only on macs. 

 

Opera. Opera is sort of newer browser, they have a light weight version they recently came out with. I have used opera for my phone and at one time for my tablet, but I again, don't use it much.

Oh and with windows 10 Microsoft Edge is IE, but is being updated - not sure on stability or flash but it is there.

Stand alone flash player is the best I've used.(Windows 8.1)

Wouldn't reccommend chrome, whenever I use it it's slower, and I have less FPS.

Sure as hell don't use IE, you shouldn't use that for anything.

I'm using Opera and Firefox, but Firefox is better for me ;)

Never tried Standalone Flash Player, cause I like playing on Firefox and Opera. :D

And to say the worst: Internet Explorer has low FPS and your PING sometimes rises to 999

And never... play on Google Chrome. It's really bad for Tanki, but I see that it has some votes and I'm really surprised. PING on gold almost always 999 = no chance of getting it and when I played on Chrome I had like 20 FPS on some map, changed to Firefox and suddenly 35.

Explorer is not THAT bad, but I think that Opera and Firefox are better than Explorer, mostly because of lags not caused by server. I tried all 4 and I can say that Firefox and Opera works well, Explorer is playable but Chrome is really bad :)

I never  have much issues with chrome, plus I don't use other browsers ironically, I don't hardly use firefox due to some features I am protesting against lol...

 

And yes, at times of the day I get low everything especially the hour before the server stop, good lord.

^ I was using Chrome without any problems until Warrant Officer 1, but it started and it was unplayable. Surprised that many people don't have problems with it, cause when I ask somebody in battle, everyone says the same: Chrome is really bad for playing or similar opinions. Really surprised with the poll now :D

i play on maxthon cloud browser 60 fps ok but for firefox about 30-40 fps

I use chrome for like everything so i recommend CHROME.

I have played in Firefox it is really good but i find chrome better because it is simple and fast (for other things too)

I might try opera in future.

Overall for tanki i guess Firefox finds an small edge above Chrome (though I'm a Chrome user lol)

Well, I can tell you IE is unsupported and you can get hacked very easy- as there are no more security patches. these are needed to insure security-and happened quite often with IE over the years....

Opera used to be good until it glitched and my screen was zoomed in 100000 times at 100% for some reason. Deleted. Reinstalled. Deleted, removed data, reinstalled. Did not work. 

 

I use a browser called Maxthon Cloud and I prefer it above all. Dunno how I found it but it is better than others.

Definitely Standalone Flash Player.. I've heard Google Chrome was actually one of the worst browsers for Tanki, but I don't know for sure.
