Why not just a summary of what protections are not used. The protection not used that is closest to 100% is the turret "recommended".

I'm afraid that it is not the same thing. Listing of protections help us to choose turrets; listing of turrets help us to pick our paints (protections). My previous post is referring to the latter.

Wait a second 0.o what is going to happen to my nano, lumberjack with 4 protections... there will only be up to 3 protections in a sigil right?

good question : there are some paint with 4 protections ... and now ? we need more info about it.

I don't know how I feel about this upcoming update about paints, however, this means that i will finally be able to trow down the drain that ugly looking savanna and replace its protection with something that look better.

 

ps. how will the price of paints work?

Good point. So it is not "the player will not be missing anything", unless these already owned "4 selections" (in the "old paints") will be kept in these paints in new paint system.

well until this system is implemented  our best bet is to buy the paints when the sale is on and stock up with the ones with 4 protection so we don't miss out on them .. cause the way i see it if you buy later you only get 3 system protection..

 

like i said before not sold on this.. huge perplex thing happening in this lady's head...

Well I heard that in v log about new paint update.It will  be divided in 3 divisions.

 

My Question is we can only add  maximum   3 protection to 1 paint ,

then what will happen to our  paints which have 4 weapon protection.

Ex. Rock have 4 protections. :(

also with any paint now readily available.. this will not going to  be good ..

 

cause now to you have to  pay for the new stuff... if we want to use them in battles .. if i understand this correctly.??

So paints like Africa, Lumberjack, Picasso etc, which have protections against 4 way paints will be converted into two components.

1) A paint colour scheme

2) A trio resistance module

 

But Hazel said we will not be missing anything and if I understand this correctly - we will be missing the 4th protection.

 

REFUND PLEASE!

 

This whole paint thing sounds like it's been dreamed up by a top company guy, against TO devs' better judgement, as a way to make more money for TX's development, but I fear in reality it will be just another nail in TO's coffin.

 

Still nothing meaningful to combat mults but all this trouble for what? Yes, this is about $$$ - nothing else. Prove me wrong tanki!

Paint update looks interesting, I have a ton of questions about it but ill just wait.

VOTW was kinda boring  . . .

Tanki Bday celebrations didn't look too exiting, hopefully the sales will remedy that  :unsure:

also every time tanki does any new add on or updates ...we the players get saddled with more lag issues .. your giving us little room to keep the computers running to play this game many have left due to lag issues .. what now..

 

this logo beside the tanks will be a issue .. more graphics for the graphic cards to handle.. not good

Seems VERY half hearted. No double funds, only 1k gold boxes, DOUBLE SUPPLY BOXES, REALLY?, sales destined to be 25%-40%. Looks like im gonna be done with this game

Sooo... you guys got a few question on this whole "Modules" thing. Well, lets take a look what is going to happen and why.

 

Long time ago in the Tanki Online there was only a few paints with protections. They were reletively easy to remember and just as easy to play against. But then infamous Rebalance changed protections alot and Microupgrades turned them into really complicated problem. You could no longer know what are you dealing with. There are too many paints to remember and too many protection combinations to understand what are you dealing with. You just don't know anymore how many shots enemy tank will take.

 

Also, you could never buy and use paint you like, you should've buy paint you need instead. Or you will be considered as a sabotaging mult at some cases.

 

Another problem is that with all those paints out there you can't really use many of them. Only a few can provide decent protection. Others, especially low-ranked ones, are basically useless junk.

 

This is what this updates addresses to. We are trying to allow you to use any paint you want with any protection combination you want.

 

As they said in V-LOG if you got a protection paint you will have a paint and a protection module. Ok, easy part, but how will they work?

 

Think of module as of another paint, but it doesn't change how your tank looks. Modules will have their own button in the garage and will be equiped just like paints. New paints will work the opposite way — they will not provide you with any protection, but will change how your tank looks. They will be two separated entities that you will be able to equip on your tank.

 

What is going to happen with paint that got 4 protections? Well, you will get a module with 4 protections. The reason is why V-LOG using 3 protection module (Trio) as an example is that legacy modules from current paints will not use new M-based modification system. They will be able to be upgraded to their current maximum, but only new modules will be able to be upgraded further. The twist is that legacy modules will use up to 4 protection as current protection paints does, but new modules will provide only 3 protections at once.

 

Now, something on upgrade limitations. Legacy modules will be upgradable to their current maximum, as I said, no changes there. New modules will be upgradable to 50% from every turret on m3+mu. As you can see, if your current modules is already upgradable to 50% from every turret, you will have no need in new module with same protection combination.

 

Also, new modules will not have different protection levels. Today you can find a paint with protections be let's say... 15% 40% and 20%. New modules will have only same levels (thanks to that change to MU system we made last year). So if you see a tank with 34% protection from your turret you can know for sure it will have same level of protection from other two turrets.

 

So yeah, this is how it works. I hope I did clarified some things for you guys.

such a positive response you guys got from April fools celebration, now I'm confused as to why you take polls of how we liked certain events if you won't use the data..

This really is scandalous.  So with the exception of Clay, Zeus, Graffiti, Red Suit & Eternity, (maybe one or two more but I can't think cos I'm seeing just red at the moment), everything else tankers have in the way of paints has become a complete waste of crystals because they're potentially third-rate items.

 

Wow, words fail at this point. Hang on... is this some sort of extended April's fool's joke? C'mon, come clean now! If this is for real then you're soooo taking everyone for a ride, especially when TX is around the corner and this version of the game will become all but obsolete. You've not even made any promises about what we will be allowed to transfer over to TX yet so what guarantees are there that any investments in TO are not going to be a total waste of crystals or money?

 

The ethical thing to do here would be to calculate the crystal value of paints in everyone's garages, remove everyone's current protections and credit each their total respective values - a rebalance of sorts just for paints.  Did you even consider that? Hang on, you gave everyone freebees didn't you when you upgraded equipment to the highest parameter. Crafty! Still, you can work it out I'm sure.

 

You do realise that TO have majorly dumped on anyone who has supported this game monetarily for the last number of years don't you? Do you think they will reinvest in this game or are you happy to see them go? How better to get a fresh influx of players to make new purchases while chasing away those who have been most loyal.

 

A massive thumbs down from me for this Hazel. A big -1.  So not impressed.

Huh, you are all quiet mardy and unfaithful, they won't just have x2 gold and drops, yeah they said sales, but come on there is more than that in the last official tanki birthday before tanki X, they are just trying to get everyone wound up.

Increased suppy drops b totally the best... Let's see how fat combos just hog supplies without dying, the fun is over kidos, get your titans and mammoths out and go stand on an dropping spot for healths or DAs.

Seriosly, who thought this idea was remotely good, it just makes camping dropzones even more effective and thus encourages campy gameplay... And the one who controls the zones will now just wreck everyone else.

don't get the idea behind it at all. The last years infinite drugs were amazing, this is not even a follow up tbh.

 

On the other hand im lucky owner of titan/smoky so i might just grab that and be a drugging camper for the event, could get some sweet d/ls and spend my day slugging through battles, pushing and pointing at stuff, sounds fun to me..kappa.png
