Not really, if TOMAS would not enter the amp, then Sos1740 would get the same amount of crystals but the rest of them would just go to waste as there is no-one to receive them on the losing team.

Oh! I See! Thanks For The knowledge! :)

Those who can take Gold Boxes are skilled, and should never be compared to a mult. Both of the above mentioned players are extremely skilled and deserve much respect. Please be polite upon suggesting an update/new record. :)

Kind of, but not really...

Skill should be measured in % of all potential gold boxes taken. A player that has seen 100 gold boxes and caught 90 is more skilled than one that has seen 3000 and caught 200. If the latter describes lukey0 or JackN1 then they simply invest a lot of time into the game, therefore end up encountering more gold boxes.

A well said counter argument, though the fact that they devote more time to the game shows their quality of persistence. Also, with all of the time they spend in the game, one would be left to assume they are catching a majority of the Gold Boxes that fall within the match they are playing.

None of you actually know how jack gets his golds do you?

No, share with us what our eyes may not see, oh wise flae. What is it that your mind's eye may reveal to us?:D

This could be true if gold boxes still dropped the way they used to - exactly every time the fund gets up to 700(0) crystals and in the same spot every time. Now, the gold boxes drop in different locations, so skill and experience won't give you an advantage when the gold box drops on the other side of the map from where you are expecting it.

Nice comparison to the old Tanki crystal mechanics. Of course, now with the new system, the most successful Gold Box catchers know how to keep a sharp lookout and be within rang of nearly all the "popular" drop zones. Also, ,coming back to the aforementioned point about mults, with the new crystal mechanics, there are no longer players who join matches with the express intention of leaving after the Gold Box falls at 700 crystals. This new generation of Gold Box hunters stay for the whole match, in the knowledge yet another Gold Box may fall. So yes, the new drop locations of Gold Boxes makes it harder to suppose where it shall fall, though adds yet another layer of diversity that requires more skill than ever before. If lukey0 JackN1 are able to catch as many Gold Boxes as they do, that simply shows they have mastered a system that few have. By looking at the number of Gold Boxes they have caught, it becomes evident that they have a little something more than luck... skill. So, we have flooded this topic enough, if you should care to continue our discussion for the sake of a hearty debate, feel free to send me a PM. :)

He doesn't get golds properly he threatens to delete friends if they don't give it him in his usual Wasp and fires, there's no skill involved in that
