But I think there must be some more exclusions to this rule - "Be submitted by the record setter (excluding group records)"
There are categories where there is no need for videos/photos. I'm talking about:
Longest time / Most experience earned with same turret/hull
Highest overall K/D
Most experience ever
Most kills ever
Most deaths ever
Most achievements
Highest exp/time ratio with a turret/hull
Most hours spent in-game
Most supplies used
Most crystals earned

The record can be 100% proven by http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/
And if you simply ignore that, the topic loses credibility.

We are not ignoring that. Actually, for the records that you have listed, we are checking data from the Ratings page.

 

Firstly, Ratings page is a legitimate source of information. And secondly, there is no other way that we (the judging committee) check these data except from the Ratings page.

This has been the way since this topic was made by Ilia, we aren't going to change it now. Everyone needs to apply for their own record because that's how it works. It's YOUR record, why should anyone else but you apply for it?

And I would like to add that we (the judging committee) can't check thousands of profiles randomly.

 

Neither we can, nor want to add someone for a record holder only because someone ran into someone's profile at the Ratings page. Besides, many players you named are not even members of this community.

Actually, you can and you should! Because when someone "ran into someone's profile" and comes here and informs you about some new record, he's helping the topic to stay relevant and up to date.

Actually, you can and you should! Because when someone "ran into someone's profile" and comes here and informs you about some new record, he's helping the topic to stay relevant and up to date.

This is more about personal achievements, rather than actual records. I'm not even sure if the "real TWR", Guinness World Records, don't require the actual person to apply for themselves, as for all personal records either the record setter actually applied, or GWR staff contacted them and asked for their permission to be added to the list.

 

This topic is only about the English community of Tanki, which is why we accept a record only if someone applies for it.

Ruby, Phoenix, Helper, Spectator, Flame, Master of Parkour, Aramid and Master of Parkour 2016 (it is unique paint now, he is in one of the finalist teams for Master of Parkour 2016).

Records that have a limit (i.e. max kills in DM - 999, minimum D/L - 0.01, "best Youtuber" - all features unlocked) will be rendered invalid and removed when they are reached.
