Correct. Rank and weapon-specific records will make the page huge and disorganized.

Same as above, I think there should not be rank-specific records. Sergeants have just as much chance of getting a high D/L, or lot's of kills or flags as Gns do.

Too vague. Get some friends and try to do a 10+ kill in one shot, and don't forget to make a video.

 

Get a couple rail friends and get them to flip you of the edge, record, make a most flips per jump record.

Yes, but last time I checked, M0 players play with M0 players, and M3 players play with M3 players, mostly. So it's fair. In actual fact, it would be a lot easier to get a good D/L on a low-ranked account, since the other low-ranked players wouldn't be very experienced.

If you can, ask Swagboy11 on Skype (his pm is full) if he wants this record--most posts in a single topic. He has that record as he has 511 posts in "Clan Behemoth". Or, you could make it seperate--have each section (General, Off-topic, etc.) for it's own record. Like "Most posts in a single topic in the General section." So, he would have "Most posts in a single topic in the 'Clans' section".

Well all i know is this Tanki world records is stupid. This is nothing like a world record page. When you look at world record book which i am sure you have not you would notice there are separate sections. Now lets look at the sports for a second. there is swimming and track and field. they have different world records because they are two different things just like twins and shaft are different. they also have specific categories like 100 Meters and 200 Meters. Long, meduim and short range weapons are short of like this. This topic is far apart from a real world record stage so really this is not Tanki world records it is lazy people who don't wanna waste(fool4) there time editing topic that they wanted to create. If you are going to create a topic that will need to be edited daily and you are not going to do that or are too lazy too than just don't do it. Seriously read a world record book and you will see that all weapons should have there own category or at least be put in medium short or long range because they are completely used differently. All this is a waste of time since it is not properly made. If you would like i can create this topic again and actually make it good because the way it is now there is no point of people even trying since eventually generalissimos will take over.

But seriously, this isn't intended to be like a world record book at all. It's just meant to be a topic for *major* Tanki records - us judges all have a life, you see, and we don't want to spend ours adding a "most points with Twins in 6 minutes and 32 seconds, Moon Silence CTF, for a Warrant Officer 4" record to this topic. By all means, go ahead and create your own 'tanki records' topic, but players are hardly going to be clamouring to beat a "most flips with Wasp M2 in Combe using Railgun" record, for example. Sorry, but this isn't going to become as popular or as detailed as the "Guiness Book of World Records", nor are we going to make this our full-time jobs. The demand is less, so the supply is less - it would be useless to have more supply than there is the demand for. Basic organisational concept.

 

And how are our records unfair to low-rankers? We even have a few 'lowest ranker to be/do...' records...

Guys I'm open for suggestions, this is just my small project. And yes I'm here updating it nearly every day, when a new record comes in.

 

Like Gold said, it's pointless having more supply than demand, just because one person feels like they want a section just for their rank, and just for their specific combo.

 

There are literally hundreds of unexplored records that could be posted here, it's just you guys (not me) are too lazy to get creative, and spend some hours playing just to get a record. Not the I blame you - there is no reward, and there is no incentive.

 

Like canada said, this is not the official records (who knows, maybe it will spark something and eventually we will have an official records feature). This is just me gathering people's accomplishments, and putting their name up for people to see, because I think they deserve it (in one way or another).

 

I'll throw in your idea to Gold and Micah, and if it's worth it, we will change things.

 

The reason we don't have "sections" according to rank, or combo, or modification level, is because there are just not enough people to fill all the spots. And having just 3 or 4 people fill all the spots is useless. So I generalized it pretty heavily, in order to give you a challenge.
