No, its a competition held by the French Newspaper. (I think it's French, might be wrong) It has nothing to do with TWR other than beating a current record.

 

The TWR team hasn't, and probably won't ever hand out rewards to players who have a record. The reward is having your name on the list. :)

You need to follow news. I guess you open your account regularly. Take a look at news section there is a contest link "Crystalhunter 2017"

 

Earn as much crystals as you can in a battle, take screenshot and submit it. Top 3 players will get reward. Details
