Real Time

Recommended Posts

The time that players spends playing with a turret, hull and paint is only in hours. OK. Let me explain this in more details:

There are 60 seconds in 1 minute. So if players play with the Isida turret for less than 60 seconds, for example, if they play with Isida for 59 seconds only, the time spent to play with Isida would be only 59 seconds. If players play with Isida for 60 seconds, then, the time is immediately converted to 1 minute.

If players have their total timing that they played with Isida for 60 minutes then the time would be 1 hour.

Below is a description of time that I expect the developers of Tanki Online to make the time change. I explain this in periods of time, from the smallest to the largest:

60 seconds = 1 minute

60 minutes = 1 hour

24 hours = 1 day

7 days = 1 week

4 weeks = 1 month

12 months = 1 year

There are precisely 365 Earth days in 1 year. A leap year would be 366 days. A leap year would occur every four years because the month of February which is usually 28 days long would be 29 days long.

The (Hours played) with turrets, hulls and paints should have their times converted to normal time span like, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years played.

For example, when people on YouTube upload a video it displays the real-timing of when the video was uploaded. For example, the video would display 1 second ago if the video was uploaded 1 second ago. Then when the time span goes pass 59 seconds, it reads 1 minute ago. After this, hours ago, days ago, weeks ago, months ago and finally years ago.

The same thing needs to be displayed in real time for player's profiles in the Achievements Page.

If you do not believe me, do the maths yourself.

I don't really get the point? Isn't it fine as it is?

Unless, of course, what we're trying to do here is point out that the developers made a mistake by not taking a thing as minor as a second to be considered worth showing in the ratings profiles and that we have an issue with seeing how an hour which remains still is more of a nuisance then watching blinking numbers in profiles - then that's an issue.

You're missing something very important, something you perhaps overlooked in the profiles - time of use is not set in days or seconds, but instead in hours for a reason. It's a log of how many hours has the user used the item. It's not a log of how many years has he 'been using' it. It's a log in a game which shows how much time(in hours) has a user spent on different items. :)

If you ignore all of the bogus first part of the topic, he makes a good point. Showing time played as 800 hours in unconventional. That should be converted to days instead.

This is the same as the following example. Instead of saying something's mass is 1500 grams, we say it is 1.5 kg. That just makes things easier to comprehend. Same idea for tanki.

Yeah. This feature is really needed. It's more accurate.

Real-time make a lot of difference. Believe me. I am not stupid. I know what I am talking about.

The amounts of time will be converted automatically to the next upper unit (only) when the player is currently playing with his currently selected turret, hull and paint.

60 seconds = 1 minute

60 minutes = 1 hour

24 hours = 1 day

7 days = 1 week

4 weeks = 1 month

12 months = 1 year

This works in the same way that when someone is uploading a video on YouTube. There is a time count. The same goes for turrets, hulls and paints that players are currently using in battles.

It is not fine as it is. The developers have not made any mistakes at all. All they did is made the time of equipment usage in battles only counting up in hours.

Numbers would only change when the currently equipped turret, hull and paint is used in a battle. My suggestion for this log is absolutely correct. The counting up in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years would only count up when the selected equipment item is used in battles.

For example, if I use Isida, Mammoth and Irbis paint for only 1 second in battle, it will add 1 second of time usage to my profile's page.

First of all, stop that noob text formatting..-_-

4 weeks = 1 month

Oh yeah? Then answer this:

1 month =30 days (or 31) then how come the weeks are incomplete in terms of days?

For example, if I use Isida, Mammoth and Irbis paint for only 1 second in battle, it will add 1 second of time usage to my profile's page.

I challenge you for 1 million crystals...make use of ANY turret/hull/paint for just 1 second...I will even be your slave for a day if you can do this...c'mon kid...
