Personally I prefer, realistic books, not necessarily based on true stories, but things that actually can happen as I like to see myself in the story.

I did try Maze Runner & a couple of other fantasy stories but quickly lost interest.

I used to read a ton of fairy tales but they're not for me now. :D

Just finished reading War Torn

Not bad :)

I've read 5 of them now, and I really liked the Boy Soldier series :)

Really? I tend to find them less interesting than fantasy. I didn't really like Maze Runner, especially the Scorch Trials it's just not that good to me. Have you read the Hunger Games? Or like Percy Jackson or HoO? Maybe a little cliched idk but very good.

I read ghost soldiers, a historical book about WWII, and it was pretty good.... :)

Try The Eagle Trail by Robert Rigby, I liked it, its fictional about WWII.

Hendersons boys series by Robert Muchamore are brilliant.

I was actually thinking about Hunger Games, but didn't bother considering I didn't like Maze Runner.

Might go for it at some point.

Never heard the others, will look them up though.

Yeah, those are the ones my library has.

Have a look at Chris Ryan's books. Some of them are along similar lines.

Hunger Games personally was a lot better than Mazerunner

I've seen all of The Hunger Games movies, read the first book, I don't feel like reading the rest of them. Might read the books somewhere in the future.

By the way, the Divergent books are great, especially for people that liked The Hungergames and The Mazerunner

Frankly, if you like fantasy books I really don't know as I never read them.  ;)

If you like other books try the Henderson Boys series by Robert Muchamore, its about a government agency set up during WWII rescuing British hostages & doing bits & pieces for the government. It's very action packed & I liked it a lot.  :)
