An Introduction to Tanki's Turrets

 Types of turrets:                                                    

 

Basically,there are three types of turrets in Tanki Online.These three types of turrets are short-ranged,mid-ranged and long-ranged turrets.Some of the turrets in Tanki Online have an XT version also.

 

=>The short-ranged turrets can damage the enemy tanks within a small area but their ability is that their damaging power is too high than other two types of turrets.These are normally used in short ranged battle arenas.The names of short-ranged turrets found in Tanki Online are as follows:
1).Firebird.
2).Freeze.
3).Isida.

=>The second type of turrets found in the Tanki Online is mid_ranged turrets.These turrets can damage the enemy tanks within an area,more than short-ranged turrets but their damaging ability is less than the short-ranged turrets in respective areas.These turrets can be more useful than short-ranged turrets in mid-ranged battle arenas.The mid-ranged turrets found in Tanki Online have the following names:
1).Twins.
2).Hammer.
3).Ricochet.
4).Smokey.
5).Thunder.
6).Vulcan.

=>Third type of turrets in Tanki Online is called the long-ranged turrets.Such type of turrets is ideal for the long-ranged battle arenas.They can damage the enemy tanks within a large area.The most widely used turret in Tanki Online is found in the long ranged turrets.This widely used turret is called the RailGun.Railgun is widely used in Tanki Online for Parkour.It is the best choice of Parkourists in Tanki Online.The names of long-ranged turrets of Tanki Online are written below:
1).Railgun.
2).Shaft.

 

DETAILS OF ALL TURRETS

 

Firebird:
Its name clearly shows its ability.It burns the enemy tanks with its Fire.It can powerfully damage the enemy tanks but within small area.It is a type of short-ranged turrets.It is useful only in small-ranged battle arenas due to its short range.It is useful with speedy hulls and it also has an XT version.

Freeze:
It is a short ranged turret.Its ability is that it can freeze the enemy tanks.However,only a few tankers in Tanki Online use this turret.It is useful with speedy hulls like wasp and hornet.It is made to use in small battle arenas.It has no XT version.

Isida:
Isida is a short ranged turret.It is the best weapon to use against the enemy's Firebird and Freeze.The turret Freeze cannot freeze it to a great extent and the turret Firebird cannot burn it to a great extent.Its other ability is that it heals its own tank during destroying the enemy's tank.It can also heal the tanks of team-mates in CTF and TDM battle modes.It can be very useful in short-ranged battle arenas.It works very well with speedy hulls to catch the enemy's tank.Heavy hulls can't run fast therefore they can't reach near the enemy's tank if enemy is using speedy hulls.Due to this reason,Isida requires speedy hulls.

Twins:
Twins is the only weapon in Tanki Online that has two guns.Due to its two guns,it is njames as twins.It takes a negligible amount of time to reload.It is a mid-ranged turret that is commonly used in medium sized battle arenas.It can be useful with every type of hulls.Twins has no XT version.

Hammer:
It is a mid ranged turret.It can be very useful in medium sized battle arenas.It has three powerful shots, so it can easily destroy enemy tanks if they are light hulls.It is useful with all the types of hulls but it don't work well with light hulls.Hammer has no XT version.

Ricochet:
It is a mid-ranged turret.Its ability is its plasma balls that are bouncy.It should not be used while standing straight near a wall or its bouncy plasma ball will reflect back towards your tank and it will damage your tank.It is useful with medium hulls.Ricochet has no XT version.

Smokey:
It is a mid-ranged turret.Its M0 and M1 is not commonly used by the tankers in Tanki Online but its M2 and M3 are commonly used.Its critical shot is its ability.Its critical shot have damaging power, more than the shot of Thunder(turret).It is commonly used with medium and heavy hulls.It is useful in medium sized battle arenas.And it is the first turrent that is given to a recruit.It has no XT version.

Thunder:
It is a mid-ranged turret.Its splash of damage is its great ability.It is useful with heavy hulls.Due to its recoil,it is not useful with light hulls.It works well in mid-ranged battle arenas and it can also be used in long-ranged battle arenas.It is made to use through some distance from the enemy tank.It can damage your own tank if you will use it too near the enemy tanks.It also has an XT version.

Vulcan:
Vulcan is a mid-ranged turret.It looks like a heavy machine gun and its working is also similar to it.Its long use may damage your own tank.You cannot turn it with speed when you are firing.It works well with every type of hulls.Its ability is that it locks its position when it is utilized.It works very well with heavy hulls that's why most of the tankers use it with heavy hulls.Vulcan also has an XT version.

Railgun:
It is a long ranged turret.It taked a long time to reload but its power to damage the enemy tanks is amazing.It taked a while to fire at the enemy when the space key is pressed.It is the turret of professionals .It is also playing an important role in parkour.Many parkourists appreciate it. Due to its high recoil,it is used in parkour stunts with light hulls such as wasp.It is most widely used with hornet.It is made to use in long-ranged battle arenas but its lovers use it in every battle.Railgun also has an XT version.

Shaft:
Shaft is a long ranged turret.It works very well in long ranged battle arenas but it is of no use in small battle arenas.Infact,Shaft is a sniping turret that is made for snipers.Its one fully loaded shot can destroy the enemy tanks if they are light hulls.Its main fault is that the enemy can detect a shaft through its laser beam.That's why its laser beam is the challenge for its user.Its laser beam should be kept away from the sight of enemy otherwise the enemy will attack at you!. Shaft is made to use with heavy hulls.It does not works well with any light hull.Shaft has no XT version.

I personally disagree about Railgun being the best turret for parkour as Hammer is exellent for the helpers and for jumping. Overall a solid article. :D
