Section Organiser's note: the following story is quite spooky, so be careful about choosing to read it if you're a younger forumer. You have been warned!

"Midnight. Some say it is 12 am, some say 12 pm. To be honest, I really couldn't care less, it's just a time. A wondrous time, the witching hour, as that's when so many people decide to head for home, wary of every shadow and whatever may lurk behind them. It's amusing to me how little people know of their own homes at this hour, how the species that spread so quickly throughout the world and enslaved it still doesn't like a little darkness. Although, in this city, at least, they have reason to fear the dark. I'm here. I've been carefully picking off the brave ones, leaving a little bit behind to spook the more cautious. Maybe a head here, an arm there, and the occasional extremity somewhere else, maybe in a tree or some other hard-to-reach place. People keep muttering silly things about occults and serial killers and whatever they think is behind these killings, but it's really just little old me. I just do it for fun.

I don't really care all that much about who I kill, so long as they put up a little fight, they plead a little, and then they bleed a lot. True, sometimes it's kind of hard watching their parents or children going through the whole process of death and all, but then I kill them too and that makes me feel better. They're united in death, right?

Now, how about you? What do you like?"

The man looked up somewhat and murmured something. God, I hate these kinds of people, I can't hear them!

"Come on now, speak up, don't be shy."

Mister murmur did what he seemed to do best and said something again in a tiny voice. No fun, guess I'll kill him now.

"Hey, mister, are you sleepy?"

He looked at me, probably frightened, I dunno, and kind of timidly nodded his head. Up, down, up, down.

"Guess you should be going home then, huh, sleepyhead?"

He looked relieved then. Though probably still cautious. I'm not sure, I'm not a human.

"Well then, good night, sleep tight."

He stood up, quite a normal human being. He lay down on the pavement, quite a normal human being with several cuts and gashes pretty much everywhere.

"Sweet dreams. Now, go to sleep."

It's a note for younger forum users - we agreed the story could indeed be at least a little spooky for such people, and it is quite dark.

Just 'cause us slightly older forum users are desensitised to the idea of mentally insane cold-blooded murderers by now, doesn't mean others might not find it a little sinister! It's good to cater for all our forum users, older and younger :)

Ever notice that creepypasta sites usually have an "18+" sign on them? Just saying.

It's not spooky, just saying its the illuminati. Children shouldn't know about dat.

And its real unlike this story

Considering how the illuminati is a meme, I'm pretty sure lots of kids already know about it.

Anyhow, I'm just saying that some stories (Jeff the Killer, Smile Dog, etc.) need a warning, and others don't.

No I dont read them I just listen to someone reading them and some of them are disturbing but I am mentally strong so nothing really hard to deal with.
