Further explaination on the paints and module system

I'm sorry to hear that you think that way. The only other way I can think of for you to bring a problem with the paint update under the attention of the developers, is to post it in the News and Announcements section, once an official topic about the update is created.

 

So my other paints that have 3 protections that are maxed out at the moment.  After the update, they will stay the same but I will be able to max out to 50% against each criteria?  I have Graffiti, Rustle and Spark they will each be able as a 3 system to be upgraded to 50% against the 3 turrets each is assigned for?  Which is greater than original except for graffiti which can go up to 50% on all 3 counts anyway.

According to V-LOG 93, you will be able to max those out to the current maximum.

So:

For Graffiti: 50% Vulcan, 50% Twins and 50% Shaft

For Rustle: 48% Thunder, 30% Freeze and 15% Isida

For Spark: 50% Ricochet, 23% Firebird and 15% Twins

So what is exactly changing?  Just the name or just the fact that colour is an cost option?  the reason why I am persistently asking one question after another is that some here believe that peoples paints or after the update will be leveled off at 50%, 50%, 50%, that 4 paint defenses will be discontinued and colours will be a choice but a cost option.

guess we'll get a 90% off for Paints and the rest 10% off for the MODULES cause that makes sense right?  

Wait so let me look at it like this. All paints are now 500 cry and the module prices are gonna be based on module power. Another big question is also about the rank system for paints. I mean, if all the paints are available at a certain mid-rank, it would be really confusing for the veterans to play. Imagine seeing someone driving around with a emerald or graffiti paint at WO1. That would be rlly scary right?

From what I understand, which is not very much, players will be able to view all opponents status, mu, protection etc.  It is absolutely crazy.  Its intention I am sure is to create anxiety and put emotional pressure on players to buy protection.  It is also an invasion of ones privacy.

What is changing is that you can use a pretty paint (for example Emerald) and a module with protections against Twins, Isida, Freeze and Hammer (protections currently covered by Rock). You can also use a camouflage paint (like Forester) with the protections I mentioned earlier.

Basically, this update allows you to use the paint (look) you like or want, with the protection you need at that moment. Apart from this, there will be some additional changes like protection modules being split into modifications (like hulls and turrets already are) and new modules having the same amount of protection against all the turrets in the module.

For people complaining that it would be unfair for some people to have the current 4-protection modules (like Lumberjack) and others don't, worry not. The 3-protection modules will offer more protection against the three turrets it protects from, unlike the current 4-protection paints which have the 4th protection 10-15%, which is not much and the other 3 protections are 25-30%. The 3-protection modules will have MORE protection for these 3 paints compared to a 4-protection paint. While this may not be the case for lower rank paints, but it's OK considering there aren't low rank 4-protection paints. I hope this cleared any issues you may had, sorry if my post is not understandable, I tried to explain the best I can.

What everyone is forgetting is that modules are upgradeable, as in m0-m1-m2-m3. So, my corrosion is m1, sandstone might be m2, and something like Picasso is m3.

 

What I wonder is if you will be able to combine resistance modules (they are modular after all) into a larger one. So instead of switching between hohloma and rustle in battle, you could have combined them into one paint. Also, remember that there will be protections against mines.

Only protection from a specific turret. Not MU's.

Actually, No. In v-log 97, they said that there will be a second menu button accessed by pressing the r button. It will show resistances and MUs and they didn't mention this but probably what M tank they are using (m1, m2, m0, m3).

No,.I know about this since they announced in V-Log. I waited to understand what it is, and now yesterday on test servers I tested this and got to know what it is.

Get started to buy Paints Cuz once Modules come you can only buy Protection from modules so lemme hurry up and buy Fracure anyways raill protections are in 10,15,25,35 etc how to play XP?

This is nothing... there are new OP modules which are completely diff from that of already existing paints :v

 

Interesting update though. Can't state opinion's before seeing it on main servers.

Yeah, such an useless update, everyone will know protections of everyone.

 

It will be a garage war with 5 or 6 equipment change per player in a 15 minutes battle.

Ok I was just reading through this and I didn't see anywhere where it said so I'm going to ask.

 

After this update do we get to keep the paint(colour) and the module(protections) that we had before, with the same MUs?

I dont like most of the latest updates which were added to the game, because of 2 MAIN reasons: Reason number 1, and reason number 2!  :rolleyes:
