Hey guys, do you ever get annoyed from getting killed by people when trying to find the gold (or waiting for it?) Well I have a solution, I have heard people talking about this subject in a different post, but they wanted to completely stop people from killing on gold. The thing that people dislike the most, is when people kill when you are trying to find gold, or by waiting for it, its not such a big deal when there is a pile for the gold and its about to touch a tank. (that's when you should kill, its more fair.) So how about for 20 seconds, when the gold alarm goes off, even if someone shoots at you, you take no damage, vice versa. Because usually the pile starts to form at about 20 seconds and all people start to kill, this will make sure more people can get to the gold, and it actually make it a tad bit more challenging to get gold because more people will be trying to get it. (but wouldn't you rather it be more challenging and have a chance to get gold, instead of getting killed and having no chance of getting it?)

Well, it's already quite a task to kill the mammy under the gold if there aren't much players around. Besides, players know that it's not the best option to waste time on killing others whilst the gold drops - utter waste of time, armor and even reload time(if you've got anything with slow reload time). Those who don't stop shooting usually get destroyed in the process of destroying others. :lol:

 

Generally speaking, what you suggest is not a bad idea to be honest.

What about others, the ones doesn't want to get gold and but play his/her game? If i want to return my flag for example, with the invincibility. The holder won't die. And things will be harder. It effects all the gameplay. Or what happens when there is double, triple gold drop? Minute of non-dying enemies? It's kinda annoying. If you don't want to die, stay away from them. :D

Please stop with this no-kill rule during Gold Boxes. If you read the Game rules, there is NO rule regarding killing during Gold boxes. I kill during them, my friends kill, people kill, RU1 kills, the whole Russia kills during Gold boxes. 

 

Besides, it is just 1k crystals. You can earn a lot more than that in 15m battle. Sure, I understand for your rank, people will kill if you have M0/1. Now, this becomes your fault that you didn't save up for better equipment, that it, kits. Now don't tell me you can only buy kits through buying, my second account is a WO5 and I already bought 3 kits on it (Predator, Hero, Vampire) without buying a penny.

 

Fair or unfair, there isn't a rule of no-killing in Golds...

 

Plus, I got a lot of threats by people when I killed them during gold. I was like: Go ahead, report me, I will enjoy this ban.

 

Another question to topic-maker: What do you think Double Armors and Repair Kits are for? And please don't answer me with the 'oh drug users are noob. You are noob cos you drugger' blather -,-

Gold boxes are only a small rare bonus in battles and they do not replace the primary objective of killing other players, or capturing flags and points. If the Gold box siren sounds and someone is carrying the flag, then they will be able to easily capture it without risk of getting killed. Alternatively some players don't care about the gold and only want a massive killstreak to catch up to their opponents in DM. Either way, whether you want to catch a gold box or kill other players is your own choice and if you chose the former, then you have to deal with the fact that the battle continues and the enemy tanks can still kill you.

A TEAM member could just capture flags without being damaged and thats not good.

Anyway the battle shouldnt stop just because of gold... Gold is an interesting bonus but shouldnt halt gameplay

remember, its only twenty seconds, and they could disable being able to capture points or flags.  ( I mean, 20 seconds out of 15, 30, 60 minutes of the game, its not really going to effect the game that much.)

I am very disappointed in your attitude, its just idea, why do you care what I say? Clearly you just want to get on my nerves, its ok if people have ideas that you don't agree with, if you don't have anything nice to say to someone, for now on, don't day anything. (And,drugging is not against the rules, you are allowed to use them, so I don't have a  problem with them, I only drug towards the end of the battle if I am in the lead, and someone is close to me, by using drugs, they cant catch up, but if you wana use them whenever, I don't have a problem with that.) LOL gavx, you don't even know how many times people have posted this topic and it got declines. Like a 100 times at least. And, in my rank battles, most are noobs who still think no-killing is a rule and I can get banned. 

 

I wasn't showing attitude, I was merely suggesting to stop giving this idea again and again. There is a reason why the Search option is there. Please search for duplicates before making your own.

I caught a gold today in Kungur because I used a double damage. A titan was going to get it, but after using my repair kit, my DD just became available. I activated it, and with my m1 thunder, killed the titan and took the gold. Taking golds is about strategy, you are free to use kill if you want to.

 

If I did not damage, I would not have gotten. And the killing all makes the gold box drop a lot more exciting and fun.

 

I think it is a bad idea, if somebody had a mammoth, and a wasp was trying to take gold, on a flat surface, it would be almost impossible, very unfair.

And is there a problem with that? It is strategy. Killing is what gets some people the gold, jumping on top for others, etc. There is nothing wrong with killing when gold falls and I don't see how the comment was "stupid". I don't like the idea of no one able to destroy each other when gold siren starts, why would you want to do that? Some people have more advantages when getting to gold. I have a disadvantage because I use mammoth which is very slow. It is hard to get to gold. My strategy to get the gold is to destroy other players for it. So for people like me, no damage during gold box basically means I can't get gold.

Everyone deserves a chance at getting the gold. It's kind of un fair that a tank dies while trying to get the gold and don't even get the 100cry. Even if a no kill rule is established people still kill and it gets so freaking annoying!!!!!
