[Declined] buy next modification earlier, but at greater cost

Ok. So I have an idea. Basically, if I wanted to buy an M1 Hornet but I am 2 ranks away from it. So what happens is that I can pay 20% extra of the Hornet M1's price and buy it earlier. So if the Hornet M1 costs 20,000 then I pay 20% extra. This means I pay 24,000 to get it earlier. Similarly, if I wanted to buy an M1 Isida but I am 3 ranks away, I will pay 30% extra. However, this doesn't mean that someone who has a lot of money to spare can simply buy an m3 turret or hull when they are lots of ranks away from it. This will ruin the game balance. So, if you are within 3 or less ranks of the modification, you can by it earlier using this 10% rule.

You can already do that using Micro-upgrades. If you want to get the next modification earlier, you MU your previous modification and once you reach 50/50 steps, you will have the exact parameters of the next modification. If you don't have the crystals to do that, you can upgrade the item only up to a certain point and have parameters which are better than the base modification but not quite the next modification yet.

 

The idea of being able to buy full upgrades earlier has been suggested before and developers said it will never happen.
