Problems After Upgrading Firefox...

Recommended Posts

Hi there:

I don't know if anyone has experienced this, but after upgrading Firefox to the latest release (ver. 47), I am not able to change the graphics settings in the menu, and the game runs extremely slow. Seems like hardware acceleration has been disabled somehow, even though 3D settings are enabled in Firefox. And just in case anyone asks, I have the latest release of Flash player (Ver. 21.0 r.0).

Here's an attached screenshot to give you guys an idea of the problem in question:

Exactly same as me, my problem is in http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=275523&page=89  but I have switched to playing MyTank, after hearing from some tankers that it is good. Download and install MyTank if you have bad graphics, like I do. Or go to the forum topic I posted, and look at my comments with "BuriedSky", try everything which I was told to. Hope this helps.

Hello there,

To view this panel:

And to have option Automatic graphics quality option in Settings, follow these steps:

1. Right click at TO registration/login page. This one:

2. From the context menu, select Settings

3. Check enable hardware acceleration box

4. Click close

5. Close your internet browser

6. Log in into TO

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enable hardware acceleration box must be checked before you login

None of the suggestions offered here so far helped, but I thank you guys anyhow for trying.

After doing some extensive troubleshooting, the solution is very simple: if you are using Firefox, and it happens that you've upgraded to version 47 (or later), you'll have to reset the browser to it's default settings.

To do that, click on Menu -> Open Help Menu -> Troubleshooting information, and then click on Refresh Firefox  ;)

Glad to hear you were able to sort it out.
