For me:

Windows 10 is the best ever release of Microsoft Windows. I am so addicted to it, that I feel awkward when I use any other version now, :P

It's rediculously fast, smooth, and stable..Won't hand even in the MOST worse condition I put it in, and even if it EVER slows down until the stage just before hanging, I leave it untouched for exactly 1-2 mins and everything is fine..;)

 

BTW, you're planning to buy in next 5 yrs? :huh: we'll have windows 11 or perhaps 12 until then, who would care for Windows 10 by then? :huh: Maybe you dad tried to fool you, so you might not eat his head..:ph34r:

Good grief. You do know that Windows 10 is out right now .right ? I kinda have it in my computer now..... plus Windows 7 is better then 10 anyways. So imo.dont upgrade

Well, in my point of view, Windows XP and Windows 7 are the best 2 modern operating systems out there. Windows XP and Windows 7 are extremely easy to use. They are both organized in the most perfect way.

 

Windows 10, on the other hand, is a total mess, because all of the features have moved to different places. Apps are next to the Start Menu, that makes Windows 10 look completely alien. Windows 10 does not look or feel like the traditional classic Windows that people used to know and use anymore.

 

What I am saying is, that people must complain to Microsoft and ask Microsoft developers to change Windows 10 to look and behave like Windows 7, so that it makes Windows 10 easy, more organized operating system.

 

The Windows 10 icons looks too flat. They lack 3D look like in Windows XP or 7, and also the icons does not have life in them anymore. What I mean is that all the icons in Windows 10 look something like sticky notes rather than normal desktop icons.

1. If Windows 7 is best of the best, like you said...Then why you want Windows 10?

 

2. The reason for that is the promotion of Windows 10 operating system. I must admit aggressive and intrusive promotion by Microsoft. Because still the largest number of Windows users are using Windows 7 and Microsoft wants more and more Windows 10 users. Intrusive notifications in Windows 7 taskbar and download of Windows 10 upgrade without user knowledge (that can be turned off in Control Panel of Windows 7 by turning off Windows 7 update).

Apps next to the start menu is fine.... How is there a problem?

 

Have you ever used Windows 8?

Try it then come back and complain that Windows 10 doesn't feel like XP or 7.

 

The icons are flat because it looks modern. The 3D look was ditched a while ago mate.

I have used Windows 8 before and it is so terrible. No Start Menu.

 

Windows 10, in my opinion, is only slightly better, because the Start Menu is back. But the Apps next to the Start Menu looks so ugly. Combining the Apps with the Start Menu makes the Start Menu no longer resemble the normal traditional Start Menu like in windows 7.

As you can see from the image above, the Windows 7 Start Menu is so well organized and it really looks like a real, proper Start Menu. It is just perfect.

 

Windows 10 - Start Menu

 

 

Take a good look at the image above of the Windows 10 Start Menu. The Windows 10 Start Menu looks horrific, alien and cluttered. In addition to that, all the icons look like sticky notes, completely flat. That is very opposite to the beautiful Aero Glass Theme look in Windows 7.

 

Microsoft needs to wake up again, and think back to the beauty and well organized Windows 7 Start Menu look and theme.

By the way, there are so many complaints coming from people who complain to Microsoft each day and Microsoft is receiving feedback continuously from their customers. Microsoft is continuously changing Windows 10 - adding and removing features. But will Microsoft change his mind about this awful Windows 10 Start Menu?
