[Declined] Mine drops

This was suggested multiple times and developers said that it will not be implemented due to the fact that the mine works differently from all other supplies.

Once you pick up a supply it auto-activates, so when you pickup the "Mine supply" it would just place the mine wherever the supply was, so there's no real tactical advantage of that. You could argue that it would add 1 mine to your supplies but then people might not use it, they can leave it there, then the supply drop would be useless and wouldn't contribute to the actual gameplay. Besides, what about when you are playing a game with supplies off but drops on?

my solution:

Its a very good one.

this box allows you to place a free mine anywhere mine-legal (heh.... places where mines can go.... like say... cliff walls!!!!!!!!! I love cliff wall mines!!!!!!!!!!..

Ahem... ahghahhh *hack* hem! [<ignore that])

Anyway:

This box allows you to place a free mine anywhere mine-legal within 45 seconds without smart cool down effect or cooldown for mines. This box can be rare and not drop in polygon (I just cant see it there ) or maps like; cologne or edinburg (forget which), camp, skyscrapers, duel, and the "A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N everlasting" <》should be created...

P.S I know this kinda sounds like troll post.... im just not in the mood for serious atm.

Okay. I was going to suggest the same thing the others said, but. I can see why this can give devs a headache.

I'd say that the mine you pick up does not add to your garage supplies and u can place that mine wherever you want as long as you stay alive and that mine you pick is either used in that life or once you get destroyed you can no longer use that mine.

I like this idea :)

I'm thinking of adding a mine box that pops just as regularly as other supply boxes. However, you can only use that mine in that game. Once the time runs out, those mines are gone. You would still press 5 for mines, but it wouldn't be going into your personal inventory until you ran out of in-game mines.

No, never add this developers blind folds!!

This is the worse idea (sorry)

Why?

Mines are a death trap- if you go picking them up everyone has mines! They don't have to work for the only supply that doesn't drop-

Why aren't mines parachuted like the other supplies?

Because bombs don't fall from the sky. Think about this; what happens when you get the mine? Every other supply activates itself when it falls on your tank. If a mine were to fall on you, you'd die. This won't give any benefit from gameplay. Mines are combat supplies. They are meant to be only used by whoever owns them.

Really... -_-

Going by that logic, tanki has a LOT of explaining to do. I'd like to hear your version of how freeze and firebird work too.

Btw, the original question needn't be taken literally. It was meant to lead to an idea ...and a conversation about it.

Simple solution; Dropped mines disappear after the battle if you have not used them.
