Ideas for extra information to add in the Tab score table

 Share

Recommended Posts

Sometimes when playing PRO battle happens to forget what type of battle you are playing (is auto-finish ON or OFF, is weapon change allowed etc.)

For example, you join random battle and want to change your equipment, but you didn't really pay attention to battle info. You enter the garage and realize that equipment change was off and it's a waste of time...

So the idea is that when we press TAB button, near the name of the map there is little battle info, just like we see in the lobby that shows us which battle "parametres" are on.

It would look like this, with better editing skills of course.

and i think ranks would be added too

Hey, ive got another idea and its not really too big of a change but it will be some what cool to see after every battle who played the objective the most and who just slayed. So, for TDM and DM this wouldnt be effective at all and wouldnt change nothing. But, for CTF why not have another score on the scoreboard for how many flags were captured by every person. And for CP you could do how many CPs were retaken and/or how much time every person has on a CP. Basically, this could easily solve any arguing within a team of who sat back defending and who pushed up and played the objective.

When modules were in testing stage, devs decided to show all protections in Tab menu. But then they changed the idea and added R key to see specs of nearby tanks.

So now I can only see protections from my current turret. To find out how many players have protection against specific turret I would have to take several rounds of whole map while pressing R and still I won't be able to see all modules.

We should have ability in battle to see all modules at the same time or total protection from all turrets in Tab menu or another menu. For example:

Red team's total protection
Freeze: 69

Thunder: 150

Railgun: 290

etc...

This is how they decided to show protections in Tab menu (Pic from Vlog 97)

This will remove that awkward moments when you change the turret and see that almost all the players have solid protection against you. That moment I simply rejoin the battle because I can't play 5 minutes with that turret.

It happens with me almost everyday that I realize after changing turret, opponents have too much protection against me and I can't do anything.

And because of this I have stopped playing with some turrets like Firebird, Railgun because I assume that they would have much protection even they don't actually have.

How do you feel when you change turret, your score is more than 1K and you see these protections?

During a game, I usually kill and get killed by many players, and I always wonder at the end of the game, "Hmm, I wonder how many times I killed that stupid firebird who kept trying to get our flag," or something like that. What I am proposing solves that dilemma. At the end of the game, you see your normal stats, like normal. But in this idea, you would have it in like the top right corner or some other place and it says, "Detailed Statistics", and when you click on it, you can see how many times you killed each player, how many times each player killed you, your K/D ratio against them, how many times you killed them with a mine, how many times each player captured a flag, and maybe some more. And also note that not all of these have to be added if some of the stats don't really matter, and it is perfectly fine to add some stats to the list I didn't think about when I was sitting on my bed, typing on my laptop. Thank you for taking the time to look at this.

Gold box information.

The total number of golds dropped in a battle can be shown and in order to know who took the golds, a gold box drop zone sign can be shown beside their name.If the player took 3 golds ,three gold box drop zone sign's will be shown beside his name.

This topic is for ideas regarding the Tab score table you see when holding Tab while in a battle.

List of ideas posted so far:

Wow of course, i literally thought of this first but too bad it only gets noticed by a higher up. And guys involved with tanki. Where was/ is my idea? I never seen it even get posted as declined/under eview, it was just like ignored.

Idea is perfect. But couldn't this cause mults to ruin your battle seeing as how much time you have devoted to playing in this battle with a high fund.

What was your idea about, and when (approximately) did you post it?

I tried something on photoshop, for CTF.

The first flag represent the number or enemy flags captured.

The destroyed flag represent the number of flag holders destroyed.

Then the third symbol represent the number of flags returned.

And finally, the white circle represent the time spent in battle.

There are already a lot of information. And some stats like killstreak, supplies used (if supplies are on), or even assists (meaning that you stole the enemy flag, then you died, and a teammate took the flag and captured it), number of Gold(s) caught are not even in the tab.

We could use a pop up window on each nickname, but the tab only lasts for less than 15 seconds, it will be hard to check everyone stats and show it in a screen if you post the tab in POTD for example.

The part where it shows how much you would get at the end of the battle before the actual end of the battle depending on how much you've earnt.

Why not add the outline of the tank a player is using in the Tab menu:

It will be like this, but only the tank will be visible, not the name of the tank.

Cheeki breeki M60, m8, assuming that's you. Also, very good score for a Tier X medium against high tier heavy spam lmao.

Why my idea isn't here?

It's up to the moderator who does the merge to update the main list, but as topics with a main list are quite rare here, it's not a thing that comes naturally. So it can happen, that it's sometimes forgotten. I'll run a check on the last few pages at Monday evening.

we need this asap. make it as detailed as possible, who has joined, who has left, drugs used, MU level of equipment of everyone.

whenever someone posts battle results and says something like "this firebird alteration is very good i got the most kills in this battle because of it" people just believe him. but when i do something like that people say it's because he got lucky, so i post a couple more and they say it's because he drugged or has MUs, so i show his profile and they say he drugs a lot in battles and spends a lot of time in parkour so that's why he has a low drug to time ratio blah blah blah, basically noobs can never accept that there are people better than them and find excuses.

so yeah this could really help, they could see no mus, no drugs and all...

Still doesn't work. Independent results by skilled players are never adequate to measure a turret's performance.

skilled player's results are the ones that should be taken into account because they are the ones that know how to use it.

But again, the proof is simply inadequate because you would need a skilled player in every turret to post their best results, and there is no way to tell if any player is using a turret to its potential.

If you post an image of a player getting 40 kills without drugs, using Freeze, it doesn't mean Freeze is overpowered unless you can prove that the result cannot be replicated with any other turret in the hands of a skilled player.  And as I said in another post, luck has a lot to do with it.

Personally I never buy a turret because a single person posted an image of them doing well with it. Analyze the stats and simulate it, watch how it plays as M3 and use it on the test server as well.
