why is tanki unfair and people are leaving?

Well if your not a sad old man who spends all his time drugging and buying to win games then fair play!  this game has  seen a dramatic decrease from 110k to barely reaching 50-60k a day at peak during the weak?

 

well of 3 reasons?!

 (1)  hackers...never changes some noob jump hacks or uses speed..

(2)  ah the buyers literally come into the game and everyone has been fed up being cannon fodder and quit

(3)mults?! deliberate accounts used on enemy team just to take up place! today alone i was in a battle 8v10 where there was only 2 of us moving on the team it was laughable!

 

have any comments or other complaints go ahead?!

Here are my 3 resons, i think people leave for.

1. Achievments on tanki are not as permanent as before. Tx might not allow transfer, future paint update, MU update, rarer sales etc.

2. The older players grow out of it. Old men aren't the ones who think their time is worth sitting and playing, it's actually vice versa.

3. Premiums: Too much involvement for a nonbuyer. It simply takes too much time to keep up with people, that buy, earn 2 times more crystals than you, owns an op paint for lower ranks and finishe ranks/ exp missions 0,5 times faster.

 

Don't get me wrong, i love the game, but it has its flaws.

Huh? Majority of those who leave, do it for their personal reasons and not for any reasons mentioned here ...I never understand when someone says they leave cos buyers or for hackers and mults..

Every game will obviously have atleast either of the one: reckless buyers or problems of hacking..-_-

And Tanki has a very minute gap between buyers and non-buyer 'players' (those who actually play) and thus it has lesser of those 'reckless buyers' with some problems of hacks; rather with really not 'too many' of them around..

Honestly, Tanki isn't that unfair. In XP/BP battles, a random noob with m2 xp (me) can, in theory, beat a generalissimo (well, in real life, ofc generals have played more --- more experience with xp bp. Lots of players don't like druggers, but let's face it, those players have drugged themselves xD. I think the main problem right now is lag and hacks. Everyone THINKS druggers are the problem, but it just seems that way.

What I believe is that they should make game-play in the mid and the lower ranks easier. Most people that find tanki through miniclip generally quit very soon when they reach warrant officer or something because that is when tanki gets really hard.

Easy: drugs are the problem. Explanation: pressing numbers is something that young kids can do too. Young kids will also change their favorite games quickly. Older fellows like me prefer to stick with some games over the years, but enough is enough: skills cannot beat druggers especially when they team up. So, for each new kid coming (saying "I am beating you" or "gold was?"), there are two grown ups going.

 

Tanki Online needs to make money? Create tournaments! Many. Often. By country or worldwide. Single players or teams. Leagues. Cups. They are more exciting and I would spend my crystals in participating or watching.

 

Drugs? Just pick ups: fair and square.

They can remove them anytime they want to, but you know that.

The problem with mults however is that it's not always easy to tell if someone is multing or not.

It's very tempting to call everyone that doesn't drug, doesn't turn their turret, has poor equipment or camps instead of capturing flags/points a mult.

Some of those are mults yes, but plenty of those are just players that made poor equipment decisions, wasted all of their drugs already, can't turn their turret due to an injury or a bad keyboard or just feel like they can perform better without turning their turret.

I really wish there were no mults in this game, but where to draw the line between someone just not being that good and someone deliberately playing badly?

Possibly the new DM Tournaments are a step in the right direction, since it works with some kind of ranking system.. The better you perform in those battles, the higher up in 'rank' you get. The ones with the higher ranks are being put together in a game and the ones with the lower ranks are being put together. This way 'mults' and 'noobs' won't be able to join with 'pros'. Of course in DM mults and noobs aren't an issue, but who knows there might be Team tournaments in the future with a similar ranking system. 

In the mean time, keep giving feedback on the game, in a constructive and apporpriate way of course. If something doesn't receive feedback any feedback at all, it will never improve for sure.

There needs to be IP blocks FOREVER but tanki won't do that because they make money off cheaters just like they make money off non-cheaters and tanki is all about money.

Sooooo... using dynamic IP will allow anybody to use same IP as yours, for instance, and block you forewer in the game? And Tanki obviously not using this mechanic only because they make money off cheaters?

 

Interesting suggestion. I wonder who will use that for benefits.

I don't know what world you live in but it isn't the world of tanki but I think you know that.

 

I see hackers and mults every day. You never had a problem? I don't believe that. You spout the party line, which is one of the biggest problems, the lies tanki tells the players.

 

Report them and they will get punished: I am going to record someone for 5 minutes while I am trying to play, post it on youtube, send the information to tanki, if I have sufficient "proof" for tanki they get one day block. For that one day they play their other account and then they are right back cheating the next day.

If tanki would stop the cheating and multing instead of having contests, prizes for designing tanks, dm tournaments and the like, the players would do what they do: just play and know that they had a fair match.

Unfortunately, the problem with blocking IPs is that we have a large number of legitimate players who play on shared IPs (or whatever they're called - sorry, I'm a noob about these things). If we ban IP sharing, we'll be banning these players too, and that's not fair because they've done nothing wrong.

 

The situation is in fact a lot deeper and more complex than what is immediately evident. That said, I assure you we're doing our best to deal with it. Also, organizing contests and DM tournaments has absolutely nothing to do with it. One doesn't exclude —and doesn't happen at the expense of— the other.

2. You know that buyers mostly are not professional players, so just play pro battles without drugs or maybe XP/BP and show them what you got ;)

3. Also like I said, report them.

 

I don't know why are you people always get angry because of those issues, I'm playing this game for 5-6 years, and I never had problem with those people.

It is true that blocking dynamic IP is not an option. But it is also true that blocking machine ID and/or MAC id is a great option. So you may want to implement that. How you will get machine id via flash - well that's something you have to figure out. Hope it helps.

I do not understand your reply. What is unfair? If you control territory without pushing numbers (drugs), it means your skills are better than the other and you deserve the dropping boxes. And anyway they fall with a much slower frequency than the way kids drug nowadays.

Ok. I, NOR many druggers, am not a kid.

Tip: first way to tell someone is trying raise their veiw by lowering the other persons "credability" is by calling them kid. Calling them kid instead of showing any content to support your claim. Dont do it.

 

It takes luck or a correct shots to control the drops. Guess what!!! In my battles, drugging requires skill also! Ive you dont control your drug use you will perish and lose. So... whats the difference? In every battle ive played that had drugs disabled and only with drops, this has happened.... one team had an overall advantage (not every but allot). And whats more!!!...It was on purpose. Thats what my leader in esports always said to do. Control drops and you control game. Most players try to take flag to control game... I know that the drops do it and it works. Take the first few minutes to control drops and win.
