Try this site, it should give you  a basic introduction.

I started learning russian on this app, it has its pros but if you're seriously thinking of learning a language I would suggest you use duolingo only as a complementary tool rather than have it be the only driver.  I find watching beginners guide videos great on youtube as there's a huge variety out there, and seeing their mouth, lips, breathing, during prononciation of words help much better than a "robotic" voice from just 1 app.

 

ps: duolingo is conversation focussed.   If you're starting to learn language that uses a different character set start with something that helps you learn their alphabets first and using their keyboard.  Once you're good enough with that then move over to duolingo or other similar apps.

It's really amazing and comprehensive. It's more focused on the basics of the language like pronunciation (it has icons that when clicked plays the sound) and grammar as well as some basic conversation words.
