completed Increase or remove daily limit of "likes"

ok we all get so caught up in liking others post ,,it's when  we see more and we go to hit like

 

that is   it tells us that  .....you have reached your limit for the day..

 

what i would like to see is a increase for players to be able to hit the like button more .. only cause the dislike button is gone and we have never seen a increase for it..

 

something for all to enjoy please think about it

Well, I don't know about you, but for me likes are quite valuable and I only "like" something when I really agree with it or find it outstanding in some way. Besides, it's always better to leave a written response instead of just a like. I never ran out of daily likes since the limit was doubled, so I'm not sure how you end up seeing so much good content daily that you manage to run out of likes.

 

Devs say that they want forum likes to be "meaningful", so that you don't "like" every single post and only like the posts you actually admire or agree with and want to show your support to them. Honestly, I also don't see why a limit is necessary, but devs clearly want to keep it that way since they haven't removed the like quota after all these years.

 

I'll consult Cedric about this to see if he may want to change this if he can.

Why is there a limit for how many things you can like? You should be able to like as many things as you want. My idea is basically the title. There shouldn't be a limit on how many things you like on the forum.

When we have so many good comments, we are indeed interested to like, especially for the forum active players... we tend to visit multiple topic, go through multiple posts and will want to like some... at times we get that annoying notification "your positive quota //blah blah.... is full"...

so if the maximum limit increase by 50% of the current and time decrease by 2 hours would be a good help :)

This would actually be great. Since you can't just 'spam' like all over the Forum and the fact that they appear only on the right of the message, it would actually be really awesome if they increase this limit. I know that you only like a meaningly positive comment, but sometimes you can't resist liking all the Gold box pictures in the respective thread. Wouldn't be bad of an update...

 

Besides, we all have clans, clubs, topics and other stuff that we got to moderate. Liking some posts as a 'yes' or 'nice!' is a necessity.

Maybe they should disallow after 50 likes in a certain period of time vs a overall cap? That *could* prevent some spam - and keep the integrity of the forum alive.

Now that makes more sense. 

 

So this idea even though it would be okay - it would remove integrity...Unless they limit it so you cant go in and constantly like every thing you see...
