Why Some Maps Have Better Possiblity For GoldBox?

For some reason some maps have better chances for gold then others making them more poplular than others.

This depends on the rate of fund growth in those maps. People say that Polygon has the most gold boxes, but the only reason that's the case is because the map is quite open and compact, with a lot of people fighting in a small area, especially when the game is CP mode. As a result of that, the fund increases very quickly due to players dying very often (crystals get added to the fund when a player gets killed), and the more crystals get added to the fund - the higher the chance of a gold dropping.
 
But otherwise, the probability of a gold dropping is 1/10000 on all maps, unless it's a special event map like the 2015 Halloween one.
