Each turret should have its own 50% paint

Recommended Posts

So... Why Firebird,Vulcan,Ricoshet has their own paints

Zeus-Firebird

Graffiti-Vulcan

Clay-Ricoshet

We need more colors so none of the guns have advantage over other guns (DONT INCLUDE MICROUPGRADES!)

Smoky paint with 50%?

Thunder?

Freeze? And others!

IK emerald is legendary paint and it can be mued to 50% but on standart its 42%

Why u ask?

Firebird - Unlocked at Cmdr.

Rico - Unlocked at Cmdr.

Vulcan - Unlocked at Field Marshal.

These three turrets are the last to get their m3 since the rank unlocked is the highest and they are supposedly the most overpowered m3s. When you unlock at m3, the paint respective to that m3 unlocks usually at the rank right after that... so take m3 thunder. It is unlocked at Brigadier and Emerald is unlocked at Major General, the rank right after. Then the higher rank the paint is unlocked, the more protection it gets so it makes sense to have zeus, clay, and graffitti at the final rank.

Plus, you could just MU your paint like 5 times and get it to become 50%... without paying 250k cry.

All turrets have 50% protection, do they not? Sure some have more or less, but the paints that have less protection are cheaper and can be upgraded to 50% they are unlocked at lower ranks also.. so its fair. Paints should be according to ranks.. 50% at brigadier will ruin balance.. Tanki is a very balanced game little changes can ruin it..

Russian players call the paint with maximum protection from a turret, its "profile paint". So before the addition of Hammer and Vulcan and a bunch of new paints, there was a clear pattern where the paint with 40%+ protection from a turret unlocked 1 rank after the M3 modification of the turret:

  • Thunder - Emerald
  • Isida - Irbis
  • Freeze - Inferno
  • Shaft - Jade
  • Railgun - Prodigi
  • Twins - Rock
  • Smoky - Needle
  • Firebird - Zeus
  • Rico - Clay

Although now that Hammer and Vulcan were added, developers decided to break that pattern with Graffiti unlocking 2 ranks after Vulcan M3 and Hammer only having a maximum 40% default protection paint - Tiger.

No. Only Eternity has full 50% protections.

From Brigadier to Generalissimo: 50% against Smoky, 50% against Thunder, 50% against Isida

Umm, he asked about turrets...

And even in case of paints, it's not just Eternity that goes up to 50/50/50 with MUs.

I know it's no longer available for purchase. But I take Red Suit into consideration because some players have it, so it's at the battlefield.

but its no lnger obtainable

Since not everything is unlocked at once, not all paints are going to be equal. The profile paints countering the early M3s (e.g. Emerald) are weaker than the profile paints of the late M3s (e.g. Clay) because they are countering weaker turrets and are unlocked at earlier ranks. They are meant to be micro-upgraded to reach 50% protection against their respective turret.

The reason why there isn't a vanilla 50% protection paint against every single M3 turret is because otherwise their respective weapons would be too weak without micro-upgrades of their own. M3 Thunder is considered one of the weakest of the M3s already. At Brigadier, having to fight someone a rank or two ahead of you with a 50% protection paint would be very difficult, since your opponent would have access better turrets and hulls than you and you would, at most, only deal 100% damage to them (with Double Power) no matter what.

tl;dr: As you unlock better turrets, you unlock better paints to counter them. The early, weak turrets would be too hard to use if strong paints were available at equally early ranks.

In an upcoming update, the paint system will be completely reworked. That update might address your issue with the current paints and their protections.

Then my idea about custom paints have to be added.

Right now im thinking of using orange paint only.... (With sandstone quatro module)

Will there be a way to put 2 module tgether? Only 2 of them.

Depends which version of Eternity. Only the final version you mentioned has that kind of protection. The others do not.

I don't know, we will have to wait and see what exactly the update is going to bring us.

mate, I'm afraid time is the problem. Developers are already working on this update. Simply there is no enough time left for developers to consider your idea, to test it and then to implement it into the game. And the new update is on the way.

If you think on merging legacy modules and a new modules into one unique module that won't happen. As Hazel already said, there will be two versions of the modules available for players, legacy modules and new modules.

Completed

Each turret has modules, which can be upgraded to 50% at the final step. Paints with 50% default protections have been removed and will only stay as Legacy modules in the garages of those, who bought them before the update.

More information about the update can be found here.
