posting screen shots

Recommended Posts

I have a problem that I really need help with. I need help with posting screen shots. Here's the story, so I didn't know how to post screen shots, so I went to a topic on how to do it... I did everything they said, I put the url in, and then I pressed "ok" it wasn't posting, the screen that says put url, it just stayed there, it wouldn't go away, and my screen shot was not being posted. What do I do? (the only way I can show a screen shot, is by posting the link... -_-)

I have a Windows, and I use light shot.

I use Lightshot, too no problem. Try opening the prnt.scr link and right click on the image, copy image address and then insert that into forum.

If you want to save a certain image on your computer for some reason, you can just do that and upload your saved image on imgur.com. Once uploaded, copy the 'direct link' and paste it here:

^^ Or just copy the "BBC Code (Forums) link" and Paste it where you want your screenshot to be uploaded.

I think his problem is different as he said that he posted URL but nothing happened. This thing happens on I.E.

Try another browser.

Just pasting a URL doesn't work. You must paste it at the place shown in the picture, unless things have changed during my absence.

IK you have to post URL in the option of "Image" but if I do that using I.E and press ok nothing happens.

Let me try it with a random picture.

Edit: I've done this via IE.

I only had this problem when I used Internet Explorer. Since I have switched to Google Chrome, the problem has gone away.  If it says it is an unacceptable image extension (from the Internet), save it to your desktop, import it into Imgur, edit it if you want, and then right click and select "copy". You can then post it into your thread with Ctrl+V on your keyboard. Some URLs don't always work for me, so this is my workaround that I use.

Tell me if it worked out.

The values for green, red and blue must be the same as the values of the forum for those 3 colors.

Red: 17

Green: 17

Blue: 17

@ToHoYoNTaDa, go to a random topic, go to an area where there is no text, take a screenshot, resize the image (crop), then edit what you want and post. It will look something like this:
