Standalone flash player

 Share

Recommended Posts

I have installed Standalone flash player, and everything works nicely. However, I have just found out that it is possible to use the life hack to use different accounts, on Standalone flash player too.

I now have too many links. I need to delete some of the ones I do not need anymore. How can I delete these links?

I have searched google for a while and could not find anything, at all. Please help me, if there is a solution.

I have all of these links to servers (next to the numbers, 1,2,3,4 and 5), and I would like to delete 2 of them. This is on the Standalone flash player. Is this possible and if so, how? Thanks.

I don't understand how that works, or how to use it.

Did you try to do a right click on that link ?

I never use that browser, but mostly it works with other apps

Yes, of course, but right click does nothing. All other options too, Help, Control and View.

You can use a program like CCleaner to erase all the links, but I don't know how, or if it's even possible, to delete a few specific ones.

Well then, I think that it would be best to just try and uninstall/reinstall Standalone flash player, as this will get the same result and probably be faster too. What do you think? My accounts will stay the same, right? All I need to do is insert the links again? If so, I think I would rather do that.

Using CCleaner is fast and effective and it will get rid of the links. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems like a bit of a stretch just to get rid of some links. Another benefit of CCleaner is that it will get rid of cookies and other unwanted software.
If your intention is to replace the links with other links, you can just open the links you want to keep first. That way they will be at the top of the list and then you can open a few other links. The links you don't want will just disappear from there.
If you do not want to replace them, it's no big deal if the links stay there, is it?

No, that lifehack can not be used in standalone player, because it does not allow you to change the link..(actually it does allow, but changing the link would make it void and link won't work)

Those links from the drop down list can not be removed..they eventually get replaced automatically with more frequently used links..;)

However, you can remove all the links from there and remake the frequent list by opening those links only which you require..

To clear the complete list, open CCleaner and check all the boxes under the heading flash player, and run it..;)

I hope that this was the accurate answer to what you actually asked :p

What do you mean? It works. Once you copy the link, press file > open > paste, you can then add a word and put a dot after it.

Yeah, thanks, I will try.

But are you sure it will only delete those links, and nothing important like stuff on my Browser?

Damn, I can't do it. I need to be logged in as administrator.

Oh, maybe there's a new feature or update..

Coz when I used to play with standalone, a slight change in link made it invalid...:P

If you want to keep rest of the files, then be careful:

Open CCleaner, uncheck EVERYTHING from the list. Then only check the boxes which are under the section Adobe Flash Player. This will not remove files from your browser and all..but remember to uncheck all other boxes..^_^

There's a shortcut method to directly delete some files from the C:/ drive, but I would not suggest you to do it, because I once tried to do that, and I corrupted some files of flash player and had to reinstall it..maybe my method was wrong..:P

If someone knows the correct method, please share it with us..;) ^_^

If your parents are the admin, then you'll need to ask them for password... Edited by BuriedSky

If it's annoying you, just press 1 to 5 and it will take you to the link which has the number next to it. For example 2 would take you to destroyer.tankionline.com. I used to do this and found it easier than clicking on the links each time when I pressed file

I did some digging on the internet and I found a topic on the Adobe forum that tells you how to do it:

https://forums.adobe.com/thread/778451

You should be able to do that without requiring administrator rights.
In that forum it's not explained how to access the registry, so in case you don't know how to do that:

type in the searchbar on your pc: regedit

and press enter.

Careful not to delete anything, apart from the standalone links you want gone!
