Forum Log-in problem

I don't know what it is, but whenever I attempt to log into the forum, even when I have pressed the "Remember me" button it still logs me out straight away. To get into the forum I ALWAYS have to sign in twice. It is annoying me especially because you have to fill in the silly "type the letters in the box" thing and it always takes forever.

 

If you are wondering what happens when I sign in the first time, all it does when I press the sign in button after having put in my username and password, is to go to the forum home screen without me being in my account. FYI I am doing this on an iPad Mini

Do you have any software or something like that activated, which automatically clears your session after you reboot?

Like the CCleaner's autoclean function, which automatically clears browser cache when browser is closed..

I login through my iPad Air 2 every day and have never once experienced this problem.

Make sure that your password is saved in keychain.

I have no experience with an iPad but I'm not facing any issues on my desktop or on my mobile. I have used Chrome and Firefox on both. Can you try switching browsers? 

 

Also, make sure that you haven't accidentally selected 'Never remember password' for this forum in Safari settings.

^ That is probably what you've done. 

 

If you haven't, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings :) This won't affect any data. Just the custom settings you've made. Hope this helps.

Also, if you get the "The security code you entered is incorrect" do not double press enter. It causes you to resubmit your password and username AND ALSO the security code. By not entering anything it says it is wrong.

Im having this same glitch today, need to sign in twice. I also cant post in many of the topics, and its super annoying. Idk whats going on, im just trying to wait patiently for tanki to fix it
