Alternative critical hit mechanic for Smoky

Aiming at the corners of the tank makes you more likely to miss. I tend to aim at the center to make sure I will hit. That alt would be useless for me.

Yeah, that's why I said "if you're good"  ;)

Assault ammo is a powerful defence alteration. If you're good, you can easily knock off enemy turrets' shots and thus reduce the amount of damage you take. This can help you deal more damage because you'll die less.

You're kind of right on the DM part but in team battles, that alt stalls enemies, knocks off railgun, strikers and, shafts that are trying lock on to crucial members of your team.

You can easily shoot a Shaft across the map. However, hitting the corner of hull to knock its aim is far more difficult than just shooting it in the middle.

Nah, that's completely different. The main idea of this is not to increase the fire rate, but to have lower damage that gradually increases with every consecutive shot that hits a target. This is actually a concept that's very similar to the Railgun, Isida and Rico alts which instantly reload the turret upon getting a kill.

These instant reload alts are stupid because they encourage kill-stealing.

I also like it this way. It is OP. Just like Thunder and Duplet Hammer.

well, I don't like how, well whoever made this idea, is trying to add more skill to smoky, I mean, yes, it doesn't take alot of skill, but its not supposed to! its supposed to be an easy-to-use multi-role gun, that beginners can use and can easily get the hang of, and the critical hit just chance, little strategy, because its not supposed to need a lot of skill and strategy.
