Why would anyone want to have their strengths/weaknesses exposed outright? You are taking away the element of surprise and use of guile.

MUed M3's gonna have a new design anyway, so it will be exposed regardless; as for other MU's just suck it up, you have the advantage anyway. As for paints, well most good tankers will know the paints that they will be dealing with especially if it affects their favorite turrets and plus it balances the extra turret resistances towards paints for the most part.

Actually if your team wins, you will invest 10k since you will have to pay 10k for the paint itself; 25 supplies of each and 1 day of premium is not a lot. You may be thinking " why not! Its free!"; well you could get free premium in missions and way more supplies by just logging in to do missions. The paint is really worth like 5k cry max... well if that since the design is simple and you do not get to keep the paint.

 I do not know all the details, but  I assume they will just make it as if it were another modification ( adding like an extra piece of metal on tank or turret). It could also be a new color to plasma weapons or bigger explosions per shot, guess we will have to find out ;)

Drug with Fire M2, and you can do alrightish. Not great, though (more deaths than kills).

If you can find a good place to just sit and camp, Railgun M2 can be very OP with drugs against m1s. With a double damage, you can 1 shot any M1 hull :P

Well, if the team you pick wins you get 20k so that's 10k profit but you might end up having 10k loss if your team doesn't win, which I think is a big amount of crystals only for a contest paint you won't keep forever.

paint costs 10k, seems fair with 15% protection. you noticed in vlog, first level prize is 25 of each supply. now calculate 25 * 50 * 4 + 25 * 150. it is 8750, which is really unfair, and supply prize should be increased to 32

Paint update. What a dumb update. All the opponents will know if my hull is M4, if my gun is M4. If my paint is M4. It's supposed to be a secret. Now all players will know the modifications of everyone.

 

The game is already unplayable so far with lot of players changing equipments every 2 minutes. It will be even worse with this new update.

 

Also, there are a bunch of 12 yo playing this game. They will not understand how this paint update work. Older players like me will have an advantage on them.

I'm not really sure if I like the upcoming update concerning paints. Having to pull up a seperate menu just to analyze someone's stats just seems cumbersome to me. There's a nice simplicity to the current system: you see a paint, you know what you're fighting. And if you've been playing this crap for a while like me you're probably going to keep on associating certain paints with certain protections after the update.

We'll not keep the paint. 15% from all turrets and mines, and only 10K to buy the paint?? It would be 350K to keep it, you don't know the devs yet?

 

BTW, how original, same design as the 2014 paints XD. Could not make something like that, cover the tanks with one big pattern of the flag?
