Vulcan's Horizontal-Aim: Too Much

 Share

Recommended Posts

I don't get it.... I know there is vertical aiming, but how the heck can a machine gun shoot on angles left and right.

Vulcan was intentionally given a slow turret rotation when firing, but it doesn't matter, even in close combat. The horizontal auto-aim is way too strong. I try circling around a vulcan when I'm fighting one but then it the bullets start moving horizontally at like a 60 degree angle so I can't dodge it...

We have to get rid of the Horizontal Aim.

This is caused by lag, same as Railgun appearing to miss and still deal damage. If you actually play with Vulcan, you'll realise that it doesn't have any horizontal auto-aim.

Vulcan for me is not a balanced gun,it is just too overpowered, but yeah it is your pings problems your ping is 100+ that's you think it is horizontal aim but it is not.

Your Reaction time is 1-2 seconds late when you have high ping.

I actually do think it does, not enough for a sixty degree angle tho. You can be aiming a little behind a tank but still be hitting. it is because of how non-maneuverable vulcan is.

I'm pretty sure it's just a visual illusion caused by the camera rotation acceleration being slightly slower than the turret acceleration speed.
