So the idea is that at account registration there is an option to connect your account to your e-mail adress.

 

 

 

The spot which is showed by red arrow should be spot for registrating an e-mail adress.

 

 

 

 

Why adding this feature?

 

People are very freqently wondering how to do it after registrating their Tanki account and some are wasting quite a bit of their time. By adding it to Registration tab it will be a lot easier to link your account to e-mail.

It will also allow account protection at its very beginning.

Other popular games are also using this feature which i find very useful for everyone, and i honestly think that  it's not big deal to implement.

Even if this is given as an optional security feature, the game will lose a lot of potential new players because they will be put off by the email field thinking that they will need to take the time to confirm via email and then receive a ton of spam.

Well, it's already optional. E-mail is not necessary for registration as we know, but for the protection of the account it is recommended that a player link it to an valid email. So it is optional.

Besides, from this update every user who forgot to link account to a verified email, every time when logs in into the game gets a pop-up notification to link account to a verified email address.

No use to implement new feature just to exist. If this function is not used by a sufficient number of new players there is no need to implement it.
