Paint Separation Update

Premium players still have 50% more exp and double crystals, which is more than enough gameplay bonuses.

If somebody was promised to get 15% protection paint for the entire premium account duration, he shall get it. He paid real money for it. Pacta sunt servanda - ever heard of it? If somebody bought premium for a month on July 1, he was robbed today morning. It is ok to not give 15% protection to all who buy premium account now, but those who bought it before the update was implemented, shall receive proper protection modules.

XD ok! Why don't you give rationally your garage to a new player and restart all from 0 with this new cool update?

That makes no sense whatsoever. But for new players this is the best time to start the game thanks to all the cool features which have been added in the past few years. And the last one makes it a lot easier to get the hang of the protections system, which was really weird and hard to remember previously.

Just back to old tanki and we will al be hapy ;) If no then you guys will just start losing players

^^^ in 2014 there were 80k players on always and no lag, now 40k + servers crashing & lagging

From what I understand, this game is an LLC and they basically blocked themselves from any kind of legal issues related to changes to in-game items. They say that they reserve the right to do whatever they want with the game and the items you have on your account. Heck, they even say that your whole account belongs to them and you are just "borrowing" it when you play, so they could just delete your whole account after you buy $10000 worth of crystals and they would get away with it.

 

Obviously that kind of thing won't happen, but something as trivial as removing protection from a paint is by no means a violation of the user's right that's worth ranting about.

So this is an awesome update for G-issimos and people that are able to buy crystals!

 

       Unfortunately I am not one of these people and represent those of us going through the mid ranks, where we play Poly CP and other battles like that just to save up for the next level of equipment of kits. Now when we finally manage to buy a kit of the next level we need to buy a higher M of protection. 

       I think this update is a great idea, but maybe it would be handy to include protections in kits?

 

 

 

Or as Cedric kindly asked us not to do "DIS DA WORST UPDATE EVER!!!! TANKI NEED TO STOP OR PLENIT WIL EXPLOD!!!!"

I need help i just want to know if the originals protections of a paint before the update are still available. For example before the update i have the hohloma paint (and all the paints i have) now with the update i can still upgraded its originals protection -> http://prntscr.com/bszptb and i can 'MU' all the paints i have in my garage. But i don't understand, i just bought the rock paint now i have the paint but why i cant 'MU' LIKE THE OTHERS PAINTS IN My garage, since the paints in my garage i can 'MU' like before but not with rock. I have the protection module of the paints i have in my garage EXCEPT the protection module of rock???? i can 'MU' any protection module of a paint in my garage EXCEPT the paint rock?? please if anyone understand what i am trying to say, PLEASE HELP ME! :( :( :( :( :( :excl: :excl: :excl: :excl:

Tanki Disintegration

 

I don't know why I'm even bothering anymore but here's some more from me.

 

Enemy stats - concept:

I like the fact that we can now get access to the stats of other players' tanks. I've always wondered how some players seemed too powerful, doing things that I can't do when I'm using m4 hulls, turrets & maxed out paints. I know others don't like to have this information being made public but I do. Now if we can do away with the random and variable nature that some turrets have so I can calculate if others are cheating then that will be a step forward in my mind.

 

Stats - Presentation:

What can I say other than, currently, this sucks big time. It's far too confusing now to try and adapt to what the enemy are doing. Before we could see at a glance what resistances enemies had but now it's difficult just to find out what one player has, never mind ten players! I've not played that much but when I have, I even forgotten what module I was using!

 

If you go back to v-log 93, we got told that we would just see a number above an enemy tank indicating the resistance against your turret. We also got told we would see detailed stats when we press tab. Well neither of these things turned out to be the case.

 

I have thought a bit about presentation and I honestly can't think of a suitable way to make this work but I would prefer to see the icons above a tank permanently without the need to press R, along with a permanent number indicating the resistance value for my current turret.

 

Detailed information should be available for when I either press tab or have something permanently on screen via a HUD

eg/ Enemy Resistance: Firebird = 3, Isida = 4, Freeze = 0, Hammer = 6, Shaft = 1, Railgun = 7, etc

eg/ Enemy Turrets: Firebird = 0, Isida = 6, Hammer = 1, Shaft = 2, Railgun = 1.

This information could be presented using those little icons and a corresponding number.

I'd then be able to quickly assess what protections and turret to use. (just like before)

 

I should also be able to see what I am using too.

 

Detailed stats in a much bigger scoreboard table is needed if this is to work.

 

Splitting paints from their protections:

I honestly don't care too much about this. I'll be happy driving around in Black paint as designs have not really appealed to me much.

 

Protection Modules:

I've already voiced my opinion on this and I'm unhappy that Legacy modules have been devalued by newer modules that can surpass Legacy upgrade potentials. This means a player might have spent 700,000 crystals upgrading a paint to be the best it can be only to find it can be bettered by a new Trio module.

 

I provided a solution on how legacy modules could be converted into the newer micro upgrade format but despite my asking on many occasions about it, it has fell on deaf ears. This solution, if implemented, would actually get me spending money again but as it stands, I'm not spending a penny more.

 

Your arrogance and stubbornness gets in the way of your judgement and your refusal to engage with long standing players such as myself only hurts Tanki Online and your own careers. I might be critical, negative even, but I always provide constructive feedback which is usually accompanied with facts and stats. I want what you want - a successful and enjoyable game.

 

Again, we were told in the v-log that we, "would also be able to combine the resistances we need with the look that we want", which gave the distinct impression that we would be able to assemble our own modules instead of having pre-built ones to choose from. If we were able to make our own then that would be much better. There are Trio's I would like that are not available to me. 

 

Premium protections:

Removing 15% from each turret is a mistake. If helpers can get a module for all turrets then one can be made available for premium holders too. Players spend money here to buy a product and they rightly feel mugged when that product is taken off them.  Mods here seem to think it's worthless but if that's the case, why not just make it happen. What do you think would happen if you take the helper module away from mods? All we would see in here would be moaning mods, left right & centre.

 

It's crisis time for tanki and first day of Disintegration could hardly have gone worse with the vast majority of players voicing their disapproval. I hope you find my feedback useful. Until changes are made for the better, my time playing here, which has already been curbed somewhat of late, will be far less than recent times.

1. This update completely ruins balance-Buyers already had an advantage and that's fine. But there were combos like Twins+Fire which people couldn't protect from. And now it's gone. Buyers have just became invincible.
2. XP/BP in the future is ruined. No more 10% rail paint, those who didn't buy Emerald, Corrosion or Forester in the past will have to play without protection.
3. Light Format (if you even know what it is) is ruined. The 46% Rail and the 48% Smoky paint made it right balanced. And guess what? It's gone.
4. The game is more complicated. If you tell me that you know how much protection do these players have here, I will give you a cookie. And adding an extra key is something that everyone wanted to avoid.
5. Kits are ruined. Look at this. On that rank, 115k for hammer and hornet :lol: Alien is literally doing nothing but raising the price by 60-70k.
6. None of the old LGC modules are working. I just joined an XP battle with my Prodigi module (46% rail protection), and it let me join but I did not receive any protection. Also, I get one-shot with my m3 Wasp with 10% module equipped. Both proves that in fact, the LGC modules do not give protection.
7. The game is way more complicated. Previously, if you looked at a tank you saw what weapons does he have protection from. Now I need to use the dumb R key to even figure which module he is using. (important for team battles)
 
And I will make one for the money-orientated devs:
1. Non-buyers or those who spend less money on this game will quit Tanki as we stand no chance in normal battles from now on. My garage was really decent, full m3, all the good paints and MUs on everything. But it's all useless now.
2. Buyers will buy most of the modules. And then what? If all of them buys the modules, it's like none of them bought anything.
3. Buyers will stop buying as it's not needed anymore.
4. Buyers will quit Tanki as there will be nobody to defeat.

This is the best time.... if I didn't start in 2011 and if this is my 3rd account... yes cool things were introduced this years. But economically this is the WORST moment to start tanki. I just wanna wait the new kits that will be introduces... problably we will see heavy m3 at warrant officer... we are quiete close

Looks like this "hate train" is coming to a stop because of either Zenith getting a really powerful water cannon or people realizing that it is pointless to keep going in a circle and getting nowhere.

 

we could really do with some water cannons and riot gear :ph34r:

Okay, so first things first, there are WAY too many people calling tanki money suckers. Not true, for the simple fact of: If you don't buy, they have no access to your money (I hope). Secondly, if you do buy, you're a fool, but you choose how much you buy, so there's no sucking of money there. Thirdly, if you're talking about money as in game currency, I.E. crystals, they are actually saving you money. Stuff paints, nobody needs them anymore. Just buy the modules! It's as simple as that. So you're automatically cutting the price down from there. (Especially if you're a high ranked player, whose paints used to cost HUGE amounts of crystals.) For people at my rank, it might be a good way to suck money, but not really. Paints aren't the be all and end all. And I mean, tanki talks about playing with style! HAH! I'm playing in a tank, but the graphics make it look like a cardboard box. If I want to play in style, I'll go to world of tanks or wait for TX to come out.

 

I do think however, that the modules need to be buffed, or that the paints need a serious rethink in terms of the prices (bring them down.) I mean, nobody is gonna buy a paint for 50k when they could buy a perfectly good module for the same price...Or if we want to go a bit further, Zeus. WHY THE HECK WOULD I BUY ZEUS FOR 500K?! The balance of the cost of paints does need a bit of a rethink. 

Finally, the layout of the paints in the shop is a bit confusing. instead of making them cost ordered, as they used to be, they are just randomly scattered throughout the shop. Can you please re-order them to be as they were? Cost ordered? From most to least expensive?

Oh, one other thing, I like the fact that premium has been nerfed. THANK YOU FOR THAT DEVS! *Thumbs up*

 

I haven't tested the actual in game side of it, so I'm off to do that now, but I thought I'd just get my first thoughts out here.

Complex and unnecessarily confusing....just another way of getting more dosh out of buyers.I wonder how much time devs spend on thinking of new schemes to change [ not for the better] Tanki . The only thing that is constant is CHANGE...oh forgot  ...that the constant LAG is now worse than I have ever experienced . How about installing a reset button or an no thanks not for me option ? Or you can always quit.
