Please give the paints their original price and protection, however, you should make the protection of paints able to swap with other paints and combine as a module. Besides the paints some of them are over priced please do something about that. I have 24 tankers as friends quit this game because of this new paint update. Please. Please do something about it.

 

For example: If Zeus costs 500k without any protection, who is gonna buy it. It is just a color. Very Bad update. Please do something.

Hello, Like I said before the tanki Developers don't really care what you think or say they will keep this update for quite awhile.

I think I will address the most burning issue first:

 

The paints are way too expensive and beyond the budgets of most players.

The modules are actually fairly cheap for the protections they offer.

This update discourages people from buying paints, and encourages them to buy modules, which defeats the whole point of the update. "Separation of paints and protections" is not synonymous to "protection over paint."

Hopefully Tanki devs will re-adjust the prices of the paints, because it makes no sense whatsoever that Loam costs 6.5k and Mary costs 100k.

 

On a related note, the three most prominent M2/M3 kits, Bulldozer and Healer/Ant are now unrealistically expensive, now that Emerald costs 370k (way more than is was before) and Irbis costs 400k. I am aware that the kits will be changed, but please, next time, at least decide on reasonable paint prices before you release the update.

 

Onto the more positive aspects:

 

I really, really like the feature where you can see the protections of tankers' paints by pressing "r."

More importantly, the MU levels are visible, which is extremely cool/helpful.

However, pressing down "r" when fighting is difficult, which makes this feature useless unless you are standing in place and being killed.

 

My suggestion is this:

 

Create an option in settings that will allow you to use "r" to toggle this feature; that is, pressing "r" will show you the protections, and then pressing "r" again will hide them. This would be far more useful than having to press "r" down all the time.

 

In conclusion, I was anticipating this update and was very enthusiastic for it, but it is not what I (and many other tankers) anticipated. With some changes and rebalances, this update has great potential. I hope the developers continue to refine it.

Why change something if it already works?

 

   Hello tankers, as you know they was recently an update. My opinion on it is that it's bad, Zeus and Tiger are a big fat 500k!! I could buy an XT item instead of those paints! If the paints don't do anything but look interesting and partial camouflage then why would you raise the prices of it? This is what I do not understand...paints are still in kits which is worthless in my opinion, replace them with a module or something worth while. The only positive I see from this update it that you can mix and match protections with different paints, which is a cool idea, but what I can't wrap my head around is that the prices for paints was raised and that the paints are still in product kits. Then again nothing could have been changed, people could have played for an extra 8 hours, this whole ordeal could have been avoided. Tanki developers could have saved work and I could have saved my fingers from typing this :P. The point of the matter is why did this have to be changed in the first place?

Tankers!

 

If you’ve been following the official Tanki Online channels, you probably know that our programmers have been working on a very important update codenamed «Disintegration». With this update, all paints have been separated into two elements — Paint Elements (purely visual, with no protection whatsoever) and Protection Modules (purely for protective purposes).

 

The great news is that the wait is over, and the update is now in the game!

 

Key points you need to know

• This update affects ALL existing paints. That includes the paints in your garage.
• As explained above, all of your paints have been separated into their respective Paint Element and Protection Module.
• Any micro-upgrades you may have had on your existing paints have been transferred —exactly as they are— to the Protection Module.
• You will now be able to combine any Paint Element with any Protection Module.

An example

 

Let’s say you have the “Tiger” paint in your garage, with 35/50 micro-upgrades. With this update, your Tiger paint has been separated into:

• A Paint Element with a tiger pattern (and no protection), and
• A Protection Module with 35/50 micro-upgrades, and protections against Railgun, Smoky, and Hammer.

If you’ve always loved the Tiger paint, but don’t find those protections useful, with this update you’ll be able to combine your Tiger paint with another set of protections that is more useful for your playing style.

 

Other details

 

This update has also introduced the following changes:

• From now on, only new Protection Modules with new protection combinations will be available for sale.
• The Protection Modules from old paints that existed prior to the «Disintegration Update», will never again be available for sale. These will remain in the game as «Legacy Modules» in the garages of players who owned the respective paints prior to the update.
• You’ll be able to view your opponent’s technical details, including equipment level, micro-upgrade level, and resistances. To do this, you’ll need to have your opponent in view and press (and hold) “R” on your keyboard.
• If your opponent is equipped with resistances against your current weapon, you'll be able to see a shield disintergation_resists_garage_button icon in front of his nickname, and the percentage of protection he has against your turret
• Paint prices have changed (some are cheaper, others are more expensive), and also affect the prices of any kits in which they are included.
• Premium paints have been stripped of their protections and will remain purely as Paint Elements. These premium paints will not give you a Protection Module. This also applies to other special paints such as Helper, Champion, Silver and Veteran (where required, these protections will be added by the administration as needed).

So, head into the game right now and try the new paints and protection modules!

Awesome update! Protection doesn't depend on the paints anymore. Now I can use whatever paint I want, yay! :) Yet the devs made them more expensive, oh how useful.

Part of the game is knowing what paints do what when you see them in battle, do I really want someone to see what my protection is if they did not study the paints to know better, NOOOOO.   Don't like the change, takes some of the skill from the game.

seriously talking people  i don't get what all this fuss your making is about , you didn't liked the update ok there have been updates that we hated before and the developers seems to always fix that for us either by giving us something good in return or make changes in the update so you like it yesterday right after the update finished you people went raging into servers for no reason and i bet 60% of you didn't understand the update as easy as it is but even so you cant expect from the developers to just remove it you didn't even give them time to rest from putting the update in the game it took them 8 long hard hours we should appreciate that i am sure they are thinking right now of how to fix this/ satisfy you but you are not even giving them time i mean they are totally just out of the Tankopocalypse i mean like seriously they didn't take a break after that they started working immediately on the new update that they thought you might like so instead of raging and quitting just have patience bad updates have happened before so give them time...

Basically just making it so you have to buy your paint over again and now you have an M0 paint...also Premium Paint is now essentially useless.

WHAT HAS THIS WORLD BECOME TOO...!? Not valuing the paints properly eh, but it's fine giving all the rights to these paints; Champion Silver and bronzer. All of you noob staffs and admins, do you know premium is considered special paint too. Its special, is more than average looking paint. it had 20% all until little kids couldn't endure the suffering from most players to conquer the game. So they had to complain about decreasing percentage of premium to 15%... Now Removing all protections of Premium, it came a few months ago and want to make it useless. Comon you Take away Free use of Drugging to make the Noobs feel Boast. Pround and Mighty. Now Premium is useless and its a watse of 1 through 28 dollars spent on something without protection!!! mmmm i Gotta say This is Madness and Insanity. Bad move for involving Premium in the mix . it should be seperated along side with other special. If I said Something backwards of wrong. Let me know. Idont Bite. just wanna enjoy a game with witheverything as an oppunity to try different techniques without removing of pro/premium and trying to make  tanki look good. which in my point of view its not going soo well as it stands.

if u ask me , it became a kind of mess...now i can use my favourite pattern with any of the protection modules, it is nice, but i am confused in getting modules...so it takes some time for me to become normal

Instead of a game it has a become a calculus question to solve. You guys are offering complex updates that non(en) players will never understand. So for example If I knew that the tiger paint offered protection against hammer, railgun and smoky now i don't know what combo any player will use with it. The dynamics of the game are fully changed I don't even play often now because the stupidity of such updates is beyond imagination

I hardly ever post on a gaming forum, but the stupidity of this update is such that it compelled to me post my opinion.

The reason why I don't see this game existing in the next few years or improving is that because new players will take years to understand what you guys are having in the garage even though it took me a while to understand what the change was about and i played tanki for 2 years now, i was wondering what a new player will do when they open their garage. You forgot about the fact that TX will be coming out...

Instead of being worried in making this game worst, with  confusing stuff, you should focus on fixing the main problems like: The constant failing servers, lags and lost funds :)

don't like this update because 1)need to buy both paint and module separately

                                                2)totally confusing

                                                3)harder to say what protection and totally not conservative as previously it was easier to plan tactics

                                                4)less than 50% player will buy paint for camouflage

what happen to Premium paint will it receive a module with 15% resistances against all turrets and mines? Its considered special as well because we the players are purchasing the paint that is usefull and not useless. If you read my Other post i apologizes to be such a pay in the butt. Its not fair to take away the protections of premium, i mean modules of the paints even thought we can equip it. however its its not in our garages which makes premuim a pice of trash beautiful paintthat was takwn away from us 2 days agoand returned to us in minutes of removing the modules off paint...pffff!

ok i will give them plenty of time and act like the best customer for tanki becausewe they look at us as a way take take ... would if they fix your premium paint? what you aregonna do then? quit and ask the refunds through your bank and call it refraudulence...
